cerberus, gigapede, and jester... 3 bosses in a row that are such assholes on no upgrades. the latter two especially. none of dante's mash combos feel inconsistent to deflect gigapede's spheres, with vergil air yamato gets a few nicely but there's never any guarantees on it. jester i can only sometimes tire with gunslinger also disagree on vergil 2 being easy. i have more trouble with him than any other boss aside the aforementioned ones. on the first phase of geryon you can stand at the corner next to the door, wall jump and stall with air yamato to avoid arrows. on second phase just survive till he stops in the middle and bash his face with helm breaker when he winds up to start running. easiest way to do it imo is by getting on his back and waiting for it. when he spins around run out of the carriage's range (doesn't have to be so far out of the circle) and teleport once the fire is out. i also like to touch a time bubble before he stops in the middle so that another one doesn't disturb you when you approach him. geryon became one of my fav bosses once i started to stop his circling with helm breaker and just punishing him more in general excuse the essay but just wanna say i hate most of the bosses in this game :) and spiders are the worst enemies

Idk if you dont this yet but i have a challenge run: Beat dmc5 as vergil but only with v. Yeah so just use only world of v for damage. I think this would be pretty entertaining to watch and very painful as well.

Not all that hard i believe. There are a lot of ways to gain motivation without attacking (directly) taunt, dodge, the locked super taunt( depending on allowed upgrades) should give you a full world of V.. And you can always spam it for at least meter gain. It has tons of invincibility as well. I am very sure u can actually get through the game spamming it constantly. It might be painful to do purely because of patience. I do not remember any mission in that game having to deal with a time limit to complete. But it could be just a pain to actually sit through. And i am not sure if Vergil’s slow down rain arrows are doing damage. If not is that an attack? But no joke my man, this would be easy. If you want to see someone suffer through this i do it gladly. Name the terms my man. Diff? Rules? Whats up?

I have, no upgrades AND no DT/extra weapons, so i only had E&I and Rebellion. I think the highest I got was floor 3000 or 4000. Very difficult haha

You should do this Can you beat dmc5 but the only source of damage you can do is when you're in DT (But for Dante he needs to be in SDT) It may be cringe but I called this challenge "Devil TRIGGERED" while trying to complete it
