Alright,. I'll take on this challenge myself in hopes of clearing UN. P.S. I had 50 or so death in the first slayer gate and I had it! So i went with no health damage first. Took me a while but I’m at super gore nest now. Mad respect for doing no damage, the RNG js crazy!

Dark Souls used to be like that. And then some dudes came in and did all games back to back NO DAMAGE. I know that Eternal is much harder to do full game no damage. But never say never. Also, why not use the Chaingun shield a lot? I made a lot of No Damage clips and the shield was a godsend. I think you guys should start with No Damage runs for each level first from mission select with all the upgrades unlocked. That would be an amazing way to get started.

The game is physically built around the concept of taking damage and being able to restack it quickly, while Dark Souls has every attack telegraphed and is generally fair. Energy shield would have done nothing. Any extra damage over energy shields HP applies to the Slayers health and thus would still kill me. So all energy shield would do is increase the size of my hit box. Also (of it didn't work that way), it wouldn't be with the spirit of the challenge to just constantly hold out energy shield since you are still taking damage, it's just not damage to your armor or health. So I don't like it. Also, lol. Of course damageless could be done if you used different rules then I did. This video is not about that 😂

I did it with 2016 by checkpoint on nightmare. Debating on trying Eternal and noped out! Sure chaingun shield could stop a no damage run but the shield dies so fast with increased damage. So you could do no hit. For 2016, the UN total record of damage is 270 game total by Guac Solart started into Eternal no damage In short… THIS IS MADDENING! 😛

In short, since damage that goes past the Energy Shields HP does damage to the slayer, energy shield would hinder more than it helps. Just increases your hitbox size :)

Considering you did this run in under 5 hours, you are very capable of putting in the time to do this damageless in a single run. Anything that is practically impossible just takes a very long time... Which if the final word you'd have is you don't want to put the time in for the run (which I don't blame you), then that is fair and valid. Don't let my comment detract from the wild achievement that is this video, I just wanted to say you as a person have the capability of doing it.
