@@eclipsifyplays I like to play around with a shooting and editing video a little bit too and it is just amazing how much work it takes to produce just a little snippet of decent quality video, That's never just the video there's always a soundtrack and a and a vocal element and musical accompaniment at lighting and composition and it's just endless! This whole long video with lots of lore, and just getting all the gameplay footage and everything and must have been a major ordeal! I'm surprised it didn't take you longer, it's obviously a labor of love

I like how you try to get the Doom lore correct, but you made 1 mistake. In the Doom series DoomGuy (before he became a night sentinel), his earth was destroyed, making him the last human ever as his family and his pet rabbit. And this was before he had became a god to survive the amount of years he spent slaying demons

No. he does not "infuse" weapons. the only reason some came to believe this is because they misinterpreted a brief interaction in the UAC atlantica gameplay stream with Hugo Martin and Josh Boyle at timestamp 2:42:40. a guy in the chat asks if the doom slayer can store the quad damage powerup and activate it on command to aid himself in killing harder enemies. but for some reason Josh discards the original question and makes a totally incorrect summary as follows: "so the question is: is he absorbing strength from fallen enemies?" which leads to Hugo ONLY confirming what was stated in doom '16. "that was in the fiction in 2016; yeah i think he does" therefore the original question which was asked wasn't even the one which was answered. anyways, theoretically even if the slayer DID have the ability of storing quad damage, the damage amplification would only be by a magnitude of 4.

secondly, the slayer's actual body is weaker than the suit. we know this because the doom slayer is covered in scars at the start of doom '16 and he littered mars with his blood, samples of this blood were retrieved from the site and studied by the ARC. Also, the doom 2016 siphon grenade is designed specifically to heal the doom slayer's wounds by sucking energy from foes from a distance, rather than the slayer needing to get up close to a combat target to do so.

Some of that seems a bit inaccurate. The slayers blood is from his first romp...pre God infusion. Also Id be hard pressed to find any statements or lore to back it (pretty sure it exists though...) but doom slayer does infuse his weapons. Otherwise standard uac weaponary wouldn't do much agianst demons.

Regarding Samuel / Samur reveal in Eternal, from what I understand Samuel was still a brilliant man who cheated death, it's just that the Seraphim transferred his consciousness into a human body that being from the Hayden family, and he still lived as a human and still got cancer but he still cheated death. I'm not sure when Samuel started to remember he was the Seraphim but I'd imagine it was probably when he learned he could transfer his consciousness into a robotic body.

TAG2 lore states that Davoth was the real original creator, TAG1 lore was designed to mislead you, The Father betrayed Davoth as he felt he was going too far and after he basically rewrote history to say he was the creator and that instead Davoth was his most loved creation. When in reality Davoth was the real creator. It's why Davoth says to the Slayer "they lied to you Slayer".

Man I remember playing the original Doom for hours and hours when it first came out...my mom was an accountant that worked for huge corporations so she had been using and working with computers since they ran off of punch cards! Because she needed it for work and stuff, my mom was a very, very early adopter of home computers, and because the company was paying for it, she had a really really sweet top of the line system. I don't remember what the details are cuz I wasn't that interested you know I was pretty young, but we had a much, much better computer than the average user or even enthusiast, so all my friends came over and even people from school I didn't even know because they wanted to get in on some slaying and f*** some demons up! This is literally the only time in my entire childhood I was cool and popular at school, I was for like a couple months maybe, but Doom is fucking awesome! I played a couple of the sequels too and I didn't know any of this stuff! Fantastic research! This is really cool; I've always figured Doom had lore and stuff that went deeper but I never really got to look into it thank you

I guess in our different universe and timeline , armor was designed that had a greater range and degree of flexibility than the human body by around 1350...by The time of the early Renaissance and the obsolescence of plate armor, it had proliferated to essentially all the royalty everywhere in Europe, to the point that it was popular for monarchs to be depicted in their armor for portraits, painting, etc even hundreds and hundreds of years after any monarch could ever be reasonably expected to actually go to war and fight on the battlefield. Armor had come to such a high degree of science and art that essentially the whole human body could be covered with no loss of range of motion. My own headcanon for the lack of bicep armor on Doom Marine is that he just wanted to show off his huge meaty biceps, and you can't see those through armor so...

The next upgraded Praetor suit should have technology and metal reversed engineered from The Dark Lord’s armor. So he can put it on like an Iron Man suit. The suit can also have a built-in arm-mounted meat hook which can allow him to zip line across the arena.

I think that the structure the Slayer was shot down into is not his headquarters, but his prison. The Hellpriests reffer to him as a Beast or some unchained predator, so they treat him like one, only deploying him from that Maykr Prison when they find it necessary to send him down.
