It’s true she didn’t have much of a role, but she willingly came out of hiding for Aiden at hearing she could help him, feeling guilty about what she did as a GRE Doctor in the past (from what I know at least). Or at least that’s why I liked her!

If you're hiding from a zombie or a bandit but your flashlight is still on they will follow your light from your flashlight!!! This is a real Feature in this game.

@@FPSurvivor I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think Volatiles can actually react to the sound of your flashlight turning on and off as well. Idk if that's also true for bandits tho as I never stealth against them

I think the issue with DL2 is that people forget DL1 was amazing cause it got constant updates and tweaks dl2 won't be in the same state straight away

For dl2 they've had to rework the gore, parkour, nights, etc. and it's in no way "more advanced" than dl1, sure it has raytracing but also 2008 lods and particles, laughable shadows, a png flashlight, far worse physics and ai, worse voice acting and so on. Techland fired all the talented staff and now they do bs like adding guns

It was a smart idea using a perfect block to get rid of the last zombie at the beginning. Using the 2 guns Aiden was born with to maintain the challenge integrity.

Fun fact that might help for future reference, the reason the zombie at 6:17 walks straight into u, in higher difficulties they actually get lured by ur flashlight, when U shine it on them they’ll come investigate, but when it’s off they’ll path normally.

worked on the hard mode on release, volatiles in the VNC tower first chamber, lured them with the flashlight without decoy or bait to not wake up all the sleepers

Veronikas death was something i really liked in the story. Yes, we had just met her and didn't get her too fleshed out. But its a reminder ANYONE CAN DIE AT ANYTIME IN A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE. Something i really liked in the first game. The only thing i wish was changed, was that that we could prevent it. Our choices and where we go has a butterfly effect. Like in Elden Ring. Characters will die. But you can prevent almost every character death by exploring and reading clues

13:55 you can skip these guys simply by running outside to where the car factory is located. Aiden will auto blackout there, saving you from having to goomba stomp guys :)

A nice detail that i never noticed until my last playthrough is that in the intro section of the game everytime we have a seizure because of the infection or take a inhibitor our stamina and health values change

One thing I've always found funny about the DL2 lore is at first it was like "There's no guns, we ran out of ammo and didn't know how to make more so guns are useless." But then you're able to make what's essentially a tiny one-use shotgun. Then they came out with the gun update that just butchered the previous lore.

@@FPSurvivor And one other thing I remember, in DL1 you can hold up the Melee variants of Rais' men, but they never thought of it for DL2 so the Renegades are basically mindless psychos with no self-preservation when it comes to a guy with a gun pointed at them.

I guess to be fair in that regard, every renegade IS a psycho lol But I know there are moments in DL2 where the enemy will see that they lost and put their weapon down. Not sure why the gunpoint thing would have been taken out with that still being present in the game.

the lore reason behind the turning into a volatile thing is supposedly because of how well Aiden did on the tests (which were early stage inhibitors, which are those needles that level your health or stamina), combined with the fact that Aiden keeps using inhibitors, because the inhibitors are basically just purposely injecting more THV (Harran Virus) into your system. I dont think the why was ever fully explained, but it all leads back to Aiden using every inhibitor he comes across to get stronger, which had some... undesirable effects

Fun fact, when you use dash and perform an enemy jump, it can deal damage but a small amount, at the end of the day its still damage you can use to kill waltz

Honestly after 2 years Dying Light 2 doing pretty good, they bringed back a lot of features from DL1, also new game that is direct sequel to DL1 is coming Yahoo! There also story DLC already, also there's sale on Steam Right now and Reloaded edition only costs 24 dollars!!! (It has every DLC in it)

I have 700 plus hours on the original dying light and playing this game at first was horrible there were so many bugs and glitches that made playing it impossible like audio glitching out and not letting me hear and the final mission glitching out and not letting me complete the story but this video made me want to return

This game still to this day has some issues. For example, whenever I start up the game I have to stand still for about 5 minutes and let the game catch up with itself, otherwise there's terrible lag. But even so, I still think Dying Light 2 is a ton of fun!

If you didn’t know you can aim down sights, on ps5 its R3 idk about pc and xbox but it is possible to aim

How did you barely take any damage at the beginning there at cillians house when a viral slapped you twice? I thought you were playing on nightmare mode

I was playing on Nightmare mode, what you're seeing is the actual amount of damage they do to you. I didn't even have that much armor on. I think in this game they don't do a ton of damage to instant kill you, especially early on because of the fact you don't regenerate health.

If you wanna know how you were found in stealth they can see your flashlight and will investigate it so turning it off will usually lead them to walk away after a little bit

@@FPSurvivor yeah it's kinda funny honestly i learned it through trial and error of stealthing in gre hospitals and having runners come up on me under a desk till i realised it had to be the flashlight made night vision potions much more useful

It's a rough life out there without a walkthrough on your first time playing. Only reason I knew what to do was because I've played the games and experienced all the bad options a few times already!

@@FPSurvivor base version is quite terrible but upgrades makes it great.Last i played it max upgrade version had 5 shots.Completely silent (upgrade makes it silent) so does not attract virals and 3-4 shots was enough to kill big dude.

If DL2 brought in the oroginal grapple, id happily play the game again. Sucks theres no mods for it. Also, only using guns is the easy part. Thats all i ever used!! Lmao

I love the guns in this game, but I won't put myself through the grind to get that ammo again lol I honestly think the grapple is alright in this game when you spam it, it'll send you flying forward and it can be pretty fun!
