Hey Doom, you want a true challenge for ds1? Can you beat Ds1 as a Black Knight? Here are my rules for you if you accept, you are only allowed to use Black knight weapons and armor from once they are obtainable onward. You can use your starting weapon and shield in order to obtain your first weapon, but no armor other than black knight. You can use any of the four black knight weapons you want, you can use all if you want to. Frankly by the end I'd imagine this run to be pretty easy cause of how good black knight weapons are, but I wanna see what you do at the beginning in order to get them when you literally have no protection but your starting shield. Have Fun!

idk why you didn't just use the Dragon Communion spells, not only are they literally the Power of the Dragons just like the Thu'ums but like the Dovahkiin you can kill Dragons to learn them plus with how many there are a lot of them can be matched up to a Thu'um. Also currently on a Dovahkiin playthrough, but a bit different from here, I'm using just a standard Longsword with a fire damage AOW I don't remember which AOW but I know its Fire, then also using all But the Rot Breath since I can't find a Shout its close to, maybe the Drain Vitality shout but the Functions of those Spells aren't the same, ones literally causing them to Rot while the other Drains their Life Force through Godly Dragon magic.

But if you ever decide to do a Themed Build instead of a gimmick one I'd recommend redoing this one as it's easily one of the more powerful builds I've done, with the worst of it being getting the Faith and Arcane for the spells since I stupidly started with the Vagabond.

iirc you don't get Alexander's shard unless you finish his quest line, but you can get the weaker version, warrior jar shard by killing him at any point.

I'll be honest I was kinda hoping to see you actually use the axe as a weapon as well lol. Feels like the only time I ever see it is purely for roars, usually in the offhand. Don't think I've ever seen someone use it as just an actual a weapon before. Also fun fact: the highland axe and roar medallion also boost the altered charged R2s that the war cry, barbaric roar, and braggart's roar ashes of war give you.

Greyoll's Roar does have quite a bit of knockback power. I was surprised that you weren't using it during your dragon communion run, and expected it to be the main attack of this run, seeing the title.

Beast's Roar scales with Dex and weapon enhancement. I've done this build with Highland axe, Roar talisman and offhand sacrificial axe for fp regen
