@@DoomWolfOfficial Scarlett Aoenia also got a buff and I use it myself now. Your not stuck inside the cast the entire time AND it leaves its' aoe for abit after you do! Scarlett Aoenia > Rot Breath Btw if you ever use the Crucible Knight stuff again all but the breath incantation got buffed or sped up abit.

Godrick’s axe is actually fairly useful in pvp, as you can *really* delay the final hit of the weapon art, catching a lot of people off guard

Just a precision about Regal Omen Bairn : Not only its pathing is excellent, but it's range is pretty crazy, you can pull the bird from the blood palace farm spot with it, saving you the arrows. You can also use it to have an easier time targeting the Fire Giant's hands on its second phase. It scales with both Int and Fai, Holy dmg modifiers and the Omen set. Now, I'm not saying it's a great item worth creating a build around, but it can be pretty damn useful in certain situations.

More like it's because it requires extensive arcane investment for the bleed to be comparable to other weapons. And same goes to the Dex scaling. Honestly this run would've been better if someone realized one could just take as many larval tears as possible and respec every major boss. There's enough of them for that in a single playthrough, let alone 3.

You should have done Godrick with dual wielding Axe and Dragon, it would be so much fun. The dragon on offhand actually get priority on its ash of war just like a shield does. So you hit hard with axe and when you have opening you could charge the dragon at his face.

There is a very, VERY big difference between fighting bosses in a proper Mirror Match, and only being allowed to use the weapons the boss *drops* against them. If you're fighting as a Ditto, you're fighting a Mirror Match, and so you're allowed to use the Commander's Standard against Niall, because he also uses the Commander's Standard. However, in your off-hand, you also get to use his Prosthetic Leg.

I find that Waterfowl Dance is extremely useful against low poise enemies. But the thing that makes me love this ash of war is that you can use it to enter a room if you fear that an imp or something else will attack you by surprise.

Had a thought of a challenge run this morning. Melina says "May I turn your runes into strength" when you level with her so...what if we made that literal? A run where you're free to use whatever weapons/armor/spells/etc. that you want, BUT you can *only level up strength*. Armor or talismans that boost other stats are allowed, just as long as you exclusively level up strength using your runes. Would be really interesting to see how that would effect things like starting class for what minimum stat requirements they can hit, and what you choose for your loadout under this rule since stuff like the +5 talismans, some of the armor, and Godrick's great rune do allow for some flexibility

Honestly I find whips quite fun. Giant’s Red Braid in particular is quite neat. Just not for the fire resistant boss 😂 I also love Mogh’s Spear. One of my favorite weapons.

fun fact , the dragon hand is made to be used left hand. Because when you use another fist weapon on the right side you can still use the dragon grafted hash of war and you can still powerstance both. Idk why EVERYONE try to use it on the right hand but it's not meant for that , read the weapon it's written on it ^^ . I did a fist run with it on the left side and it's amazing , let you have a buf hash of war on the right hand and a combat hash of war once you equip the dragon head.

cool! i used it a bit in my rip and tear run, still didn't find it useful lol I mean the ash of war _can_ hit pretty hard if the thing stays in it, but I think other fist weapons serve the damage better myself

You get the gimmick spear for Rykard in NG by doing the volcano manor quests and talking to a ghost.

The grafted dragon is made to be an off hand weapon as it overrides the ash of war of your main hand so you the ash of war and and the quick left hand jabs from it while being able to use a one hand move set of any weapon in in your right

I guess that makes sense, but i feel like that would actually just drive it's utility way down? like, it doesn't have the full fist weapon moveset, and it's regulated to only being in your left. interesting

Hoarah Loux's Earthshaker is the best Ash of War to deal with BHS and Ashes of War spammers. It has a long build-up but it's definitely not bad.
