Can you beat Elden Ring DLC using ONLY Lamenter's Mask?

I used the worst "weapon" in the DLC against all the Main Bosses in Shadow of the Erdtree for this challenge run. This ended up being a lot of fun as I got to learn the bosses pretty well due to the low damage, so I hope you all enjoy the video :)

exactly what holy damage sources are you expecting to run into that you'd be comfortable tanking hits from with such minimal armor? I'm genuinely curious, if we're treating this as essentially a zero-weight armor set, then it remains fairly mediocre in most respects even compared to its nearest peers in light Armor, or indeed the dragon transformations, which actually have other utilities other than the objectively worthless headbutt.

@@jstar3382 And if you have a halfway decent weapon you oneshot them, I'm also pretty sure dealing enough dmg to the main one despawns the clones too. I mean I didn't even know that was a mechanic until I saw a video of it. He is by far the easiest boss in the dlc and I struggle to think of an easier one in base game. He is a bit harder though if you use a weak weapon as seen in this video since a small dps check is his only threat.

Fun fact: the Lamenter form has a few benefits: - It increases Arcane by 8 - It grants +5% Damage Negation to all damage types except Holy - It grants +20% damage negation to Holy - It takes up all your armour slots while also not taking up any equip load Basically, the Lamenter form, outside of memes, seems practically designed to take advantage of a Blue Dancer Talisman build (which grants more physical damage the less equip load that you have). So it actually seems pretty good in that respect, as long as it's used for that niche.

You can dodge it if you position correctly, like I did towards the end of the attempts, but yeah it's normally not dodgeable unless you're constantly moving to his right leg to not get hit by the cross slash IF he does it. It forces you to play the fight way differently, but it was kinda fun in it's own way

Metyr’s Giant Laser move is avoidable by walking farther into the purple glow under metyr. It doesn’t have a hit box until a few feet into it so you can narrowly avoid the lasers. Just don’t go in to far or you get knocked back and down to where the lasers can hit you

I think there's something i did wrong, but i summoned hornsent for messmer, and helped him fight Leda during the invasion and i still had to fight him at the gank fight. I miss clicked and sat at the site of grace again, after he spawned in messmer's room, and he disappeared, i think that's where i fkced up
