Before the first FO3 DLCs came out, you couldn't send Fawkes or Charon (I think) into the room to activate the purifier. When they did come out, however, new dialogue was added for Fawkes where he suggests he goes and does it instead since radiation has zero effect on him, and thus no lives have to be sacrificed.

You missed the fact that Harkness can gift you a plasma rifle and Zimmer can gift you an implant. Edit: The Republic of Dave quest can also gift you Ol'Painless. In retrospect, you made Raven Rock far harder than it needed to be armed only with a Mesmetron :-)

Ghouls are not immune to radiation, though the games don't make that clear enough. Basically, they're near-undead because of rads to start: Further rads won't kill them, but it *will* cause brain damage, and cause them to go feral.

yes but radiation makes ghouls go crazy over a certain period. thats why feral ghouls even exist. feral ghouls are the humans who didn't get to shelter after the bombs dropped. while normal ghouls are the ones who hid in places like tunnels and buildings but still got irradiated and ghoulified.

If you are looking for new ideas, I’d be very interested in a lock pick only run, I myself tried it in new Vegas and it’s actually a bit more challenging than I expected, the rules I use are only from safes and if the room is only lootable via lock pick then I can take anything from said room

Maybe? Super-Duper Mart would have been a pain, even with Ant's Sting, due to all the Raiders in a tight space, at least one of whom I've seen spawn weilding a Chinese Assault Rifle or a Hunting Rifle. The EXP would have been decent, but the ammo and healing items likely wouldn't have been worth all the risk to get them, the caps would have been worthless, and the Repellent Stick is useless, as far as I'm aware

The unique Chinese rifle is an unmarked quest reward, that could have been utilized if it qualified in your rule set. It’s a terminal puzzle in one of the museums, I believe the same one you retrieve the satellite for 3 dog from. The reward only triggers after you complete the puzzle so I’d say it counts. Highest dps of any weapon in the game though so this challenge would be a cheese
