I am really late but this desert ranger, being owned by a staff sarge prob had it during the resource war or alaskan wars, meaning he probably commited some real damn atrocities and was seeking forgiveness

Well the NCR riot ones that were introduced in The lonesome road DLCs also don't have faction locks so you can use those and not have the factions be provoked

I think he may have chosen this armor because it's not NCR ranger it's pre-war army ranger. And I think that's what he's going for. Could be wrong.

Nice idea and playthrough! I was expecting Free Vegas, since it’d be in line with what a desert ranger that rejected the unification treaty would probably want. Just independent cities, towns and villages that would call the rangers for help if anything happens.

With being in NCR desert ranger you can use mostly NCR weapons for the challenge if you can beat New Vegas probably the DLC as well

Can you beat fallout new vegas as a wild wastelander? Only use wild wasteland items and mention most wild wastelande encounters, (This is not as much of a normal ask so don't pay too much attention unless you wanna do it 😅)

Can you beat fnv as a riot cop? Gear: police baton, police pistol, riot shotgun, riot gear-eliet riot gear

You can also use nade launchers because irl they use non leathal ones but we can't do that in new vegas so leathal will have to do

I've saved it, really interesting idea, kind of a sheriff type run but can be more law enforcing instead of frontier justice

@@TheBrickMaker yeah if you want you can use Joshua's armor as it has a police type feel without the bandages because if the vest

@@TheBrickMaker for early game before you beat honest hearts you could use the merc grunt outfit with sunglasses as that also really gives the cop feel
