Here’s a brief explanation regarding what happened at 12:43: In the video I say that the game is soft-locked after you talk to Oliver because you’re stuck in place and he disappears. Then I cut to me not being stuck in place and Oliver disappearing. That happened because I didn’t speak to Oliver to bring up the “Okay, listen here” dialog. Instead, I followed him and then he disappeared. I should have explained that better in the video. And at 13:22, what you’re seeing is what I did after Raul killed Oliver. I stole Oliver’s outfit, left Raul to fight or die against the Heavy Troopers, and went back to the 1st floor to pose and contemplate my next move.

To be fair if Ian shoots you, that's because you positioned yourself in his line of sight. The first two fallout games are much more dependent on how you play with all aspects of your character even where they're standing.

Yeah, I know that pain, Ian in Fallout is a loose cannon with an SMG. If you want to avoid getting gunned in the back by Ian in Fallout, play a sniper or just stay behind him and hope you don’t end up shooting *him* in the back.

But in all seriousness, the companions in the first fallout are idiots in combat. You can’t give them targets, so you hope and pray they shoot at the raider north of you, and not the one you’re trying to crush with a sledgehammer.

I think it might be possible, albeit extremely tedious. If we're going to define "only shouts" as "not directly damaging anything with something that isn't a shout" (which means you can still use non-damaging spells), you might be able to complete Bleak Falls Barrow by killing the Draugr with traps, and killing the first dragon by having the guards do it for you. From there, you just need to learn a shout that deals direct damage. Frost Breath is the only one that doesn't have one of its words locked behind a lengthy questline. You'll also need to kill some dragons to unlock the shouts, but you can just lure one to a town and have the guards kill it. And from there, you just sort of complete the game as usual, but extremely slowly since the cooldown on your attacks is massive (but can be reduced by praying at Talos shrines and wearing a Talos amulet). Probably best to stealth around everything you aren't absolutely required to kill. The only potential problem spots I see are the fights against Alduin, since you won't be able to hit him with an attack while Dragonrend is still active, but since you've got Paarthurnax/the ancient heroes on your side during those fights, it's probably still possible. There's also the problem since that you're not leveling any skills by shouting, you'll be extremely weak and rarely level up. So yeah, probably possible, just extremely tedious and unfun. That hasn't stopped Mitten Squad before, though.

You know what's funny about the lowest graphics? Messing with the graphics in the .ini files of Fallout 4 is why the grass was missing for my first few Fallout 4 challenges. I was trying to spawn 100,000 Radroaches to celebrate 100,000 subscribers, and I thought sacrificing the graphics by disabling all the terrain and forcing to resolution to 96p (128x96) would let me do it. But it didn't work. Then I tried 100,000 pencils in Vault 111, but that didn't work either.
