I'll be honest, the first thought that popped in to my head when you said Nobody was the first name and to guess the naming scheme was "oh Kingdom Hearts!" but then I immediately convinced myself that I was just reading in to it and that it was definitely not Kingdom Hearts. Remember that you can also game Vivi's STR stat which is oddly higher than normal for a mage, and in Act 1 his weapon power's almost equal to his physical counterparts.

Vivi is broken af if you get a +fire, ice or thunder add-on or equipment and throw on one of his elemental staves; same with Eiko and Sarah/Dagger/Garnet with wind and a racket.

I tried really hard to play ff9 on my ps2 back in the day. The issue was the 35 second loading screens before each fight. I made it like 3 hours into the game and gave up. That was so frustrating

What's the reason for not getting the oak staff from the chocographs before going into burmecia for early bio? I assume just because it's faster to progress on overall, but you could have made it so you had an overall easier mid game given faster battles earlier and potential for much earlier levelling opportunity with a grand dragon or two.
