The banished arent a sub-faction they are there own thing that has been at war with the covenant for the entire duration of the halo series

so btw... with the scarab fight on the long defense mission, you can super cheese it with the nightingale smoke ability. drop smoke ON the scarab and it just stands there very confused. its great

Fun fact most of the units in the campaign are hella expensive, like the hornets are like 475 to 500 supply. In multiplayer they are significantly cheaper around 275 supply. The reason why is cause the community complained about the prices so 343 changed it, but they didn’t in the campaign.

I would have never guessed that. I never really touched the multi-player in the Halo Wars games. 500 supply is so much for one single hornet.

​@magicalgarrn the balancing for mp is completely different in MP then campaign, nightingales cost power, hellbringers have double the health, I believe hornets have slightly more health I think (might just be I always get the universal unit type upgrades when possible so barely see stock health) jackrabits start with the Gl upgrade, seige turrets and shield gens have scaling costs etc basically the campaign versions of the units have the day 1 balancing... although air spam is still way too op then it should be for no reason
