There is a very good reason why forced fights should be allowed in all pacifist runs: The fact that they bring you in with the intent to kill, normal enemies, for all we know, are just trying to defend themselves, but the fact that they force you in an arena shows that they planned out and attempt to execute a plot to kill you. Essay aside, great video, I’ve always thought that Kirby enemies are too cute to kill :).

tip for hammer glitch: if you do the hammer bounce (or whatever it's called) when you're closer to the ground you get more height and be able to pass invisible walls. also, did you know if you slide, jump, then mash A as a combo you can do a cool move using the sword ability and it works for all variations?

I think the Hammer Jump glitch over that wall in Winter Horns is possible. I think you timed the glitch a little late, which led to a shorter height than usual. (Also the Hammer Jump glitch is able to be used with all variations of the Hammer ability)

for reference, a frame perfect hammer jump can send you all the way to the upper path in Battle of Blizzard Bridge. Too early, you don't do the jump at all. too late, you don't get enough height.

i dont see anything wrong with that. the video is funny, and he tried his best. there are super popular channels that always break the rules of their own challenges. but if they didnt, the video wouldnt be interesting and would usually only be 5 minutes or less. if we did everything the way you like it, we would get a 1 minute video and a simple “no”. and challenge videos like these are their own genre, if you make a challenge video you arent “chasin’ that clout 💪😔💸” youre expanding on the genre. as an added bonus, nobody has made this specific challenge before. it feels like theres not a point to hate on it.

​​​@@TheRealSuperKirbyfun fact. Since Kirby can damage enemies without attacking by shielding and letting enemies run into you. Or just grab the Gigant Sword because of it's shield. Final Stand technically was doable. As well as every Arena, since you're just shielding yourself and not attacking the enemies. Ice ability would work too since if you spam the crouch button you can damage enemies without needing to attack them. But considering you need the hammer to get the waddle dees from the first 2 rooms. Simply crouching and letting the enemy kill themselves by running into you would work.

You can actually skip the minibosses and battle arenas with the hammer glitch,also any hammer works so if you get it by mixing abilities in the first level you could keep it for the whole run

Here's an idea. You beat the game using the sword you get from beating the post-game, but you can't take any damage for the entire run. Edit: if you want to spice it up a bit, make it so you're never at full health so that sword beams don't work(obviously hits taken for this purpose wouldn't count against the run)

A common misconception about the toy hammer glitch is you a specifically need a toy hammer when really, you can use any version of hammer. If you have the game and don't believe me and try it out yourself.

actually Toy hammer isn't even needed for the Hammer moonjump, it's jut the easiest to telegraph out of all the hammers: I've seen someone do the glitch with Masked Hammer before and i did it with normal once also i noticed that if you hold the A button you get thrown higher by the superjump so mashing A isn't the best choice, rather, you should wait until the last possible second (usually once the attack connects to the ground) to press A

​@@HoohooPaisanocrouch and invincibility frames can actually damage enemies. So theoretically, if you take damage and touch the squishy while invincible. It will die. And the run ends at Final Stand. But the same can be done. Just crouch and let the enemies run into you, they'll take damage. For the cleaver guys you have to run and crouch into them. Which I dunno if you count that as attacking but I mean you're walking into them crouching.

I personally love the pacifist run, especially because ok, no, you can't beat it if you never attack any enemy but again since the game forces the scenario, like most games with bosses do, you can't do a true pacifist run for most games unless it's Undertale LOL Edit: sorry to hear you got stopped at the end!
