Okay, so this is not so much of "no buttons" or "no inputs" as it is the closest approximation of the "while carrying Mario" challenge from NSMB Wii, U and SM3DW. Cool.

I mean, Mario doesn't have to make any inputs to complete the challenge, as explained at the beginning. Though carrying is the only way to get someone to move if they can't move on their own

@@cakeyeater7392 Yeah, but all the inputs are done by Yoshi, who's being played mostly normally. You can't beat it with no inputs whatsoever, but to attempt a "no buttons" run would mean running with the left stick and spin jumping (and using badges) with motion controls.

I was defending the title purely on the basis that this is a run where a *character* wins without making any inputs, and because I thought that the "closest approximation of the 'while carrying Mario' challenge" statement was intended to be a critique. I'm not sure if that was actually your intention though

Other idea i have that keeps mario from pressing a button. The player who is in control of the camera (with the crown on them) cam squish other players if they dont catch up. When another player dies, they will respawn (just like the adding a second player at the beginning of the level idea) at the player with the crown and land on yoshi's back. Edit: i continued to watch the vid and you did that very thing later in the level 😂
