Can You Beat Mario Wonder Without Pressing ANY Buttons?

Today I attempted a challenge to beat Super Mario Bros. Wonder without doing anything. No, really, that's the point of this challenge. Well - I guess I'm doing something, but also nothing. You know what I mean? Sometimes to get what you want in life, you gotta do a lot of nothing to do something, and you have to do something to do nothing, just like I did in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Also this challenge reminded me of Yoshi's Island, but instead of Mario being a baby, he's an elephant.

Okay, so this is not so much of "no buttons" or "no inputs" as it is the closest approximation of the "while carrying Mario" challenge from NSMB Wii, U and SM3DW. Cool.

I mean, Mario doesn't have to make any inputs to complete the challenge, as explained at the beginning. Though carrying is the only way to get someone to move if they can't move on their own

@@cakeyeater7392 Yeah, but all the inputs are done by Yoshi, who's being played mostly normally. You can't beat it with no inputs whatsoever, but to attempt a "no buttons" run would mean running with the left stick and spin jumping (and using badges) with motion controls.

@@jruler93 there's absolutely no game where a single player can win by not making any inputs, so if that's what you mean by "it's not so much of a no input challenge," then yeah. I was defending the title purely on the basis that this is a run where a *character* wins without making any inputs, and because I thought that the "closest approximation of the 'while carrying Mario' challenge" statement was intended to be a critique. I'm not sure if that was actually your intention though

Other idea i have that keeps mario from pressing a button. The player who is in control of the camera (with the crown on them) cam squish other players if they dont catch up. When another player dies, they will respawn (just like the adding a second player at the beginning of the level idea) at the player with the crown and land on yoshi's back. Edit: i continued to watch the vid and you did that very thing later in the level 😂
