I know it's a bit late but I just did a little re search about pvz2 fruits so the electric peel kinda counts as a banana so it counts as a fruit. yhe chilly pepper and the gost pepper kinda count a fruits. the Internet said that the ultomato is a fruit? the blastberry vine has a weird situation, the vine isn't a fruit but the berry is so it kinda counts?the endurian is based on the durian fruit.(these ones I wasn't sure so you can let others decide) the dragon bruit, cran jelly, boom berry, stickybomb rice, olive pit, imp pear, pokra, hot date, bombegranate, starfruit, Holly barrier, apple mortar, grapeshot, electric blueberry,strawbrust, squash, E.M.Peach, citron, A.K.E.E and red stinger are also fruits.

If you want a good fruit plant for this challenge,Imp-pear.Costs 0 SUN,turns zombies into weak imps,stuns zombies in its if eaten by an Imp,I honestly think he can solo some levels.Some other good picks are starfruit,pumpkin,and the recently added Electric Peel for Big Wave Beach (spoilers,you’re NOT gonna like that world).

You could def get the imp pear, 1. its a pear ( which is a fruit) and 2. it works EXTREMELY well against strong basic zombies (like the bucket head/blockhead, plus very annoying zombies that will apPEAR on a lot of worlds (big wave beach, dark ages, and jurrasic marsh)

You can try unlocking apple mortar, it stuns zombies for a brief moment and has very high fire rate, plus it shoots in multiple lanes, hence it is a great fruit for the challange
