You know how I told you that it was possible for only the scripted pool zombies to spawn in the pool? Well, I just realised that, no - they don't have to spawn in the pool either! Technically, there's a 1 in 2 billion chance (roughly) for any zombie to spawn in the top row - even if they are a garg, dancer, snorkel, dolphin, etc. So you could TECHNICALLY go the entire game with only ambush zombies spawning in the pool!

@@Shyguymask kind of? vsoup (who is a peggle speedrunner who dabbles in the pvz speedrun community) was testing out some TAS tools, and she found that if the rng function calls "0" then some strange things happen, most notably the spawning in the top row even though they really shouldn't. The RNG function can call any number from 0 to 2147483647, and 0 was the only one that had this strange behaviour. She put a video of it in the speedrun discord, but it didn't happen accidentally.

I don't completely understand the limiting and seed explanation. Is there a tool that can find an actual seed where certain problematic zombies may not spawn in certain levels until the last wave, without altering the game in any way? Or are you altering the game with an external tool to prevent the zombies from spawning, and pretend that there could be a seed where they really would not have spawned? I'm pretty sure that RNG in games doesn't work like that, since it's not truly random but pseudo random generated by an algorithm. If true randomness could be achieved by computation and was used in the game, then yes you could pretend that there could be "1 in a trillion chance" where all zombies could have really spawned like that. But I'm pretty sure that it will never work like that, in any game.

If you didn't notice, i didn't do any conveyor belt levels. That's because I don't find them fun to play/TAS on seed limiting challenges. Also on the official speedrun rules for 3 slots any%, conveyor belts are unchanged

5-10 is possible in theory. RNG manipulation allows you to always get jalapenos, and zombies don't spawn in rows with a used (not crushed) lawn mower. So you can clear the board with jalapenos and save scum so zomboss does not send fire ball in the row with flower pots.
