Can You Beat Pokemon Emerald Kaizo With Only Starter Pokemon ( HARDEST ROM HACK EVER MADE) !!!!

Welcome to my hardest and most anticipated can you beat run ever in this challenge we are going to attempt to beat pokemon emerald kaizo (one of the hardest rom hacks on the market) With only starter pokemon. This might not seem that hard but the level cap in this game is crazy and on top of that every trainer has an elite team and did i mention that your pokemon can't gain any ev's and your opponent always gets max ev's it's also not possible to use any items in battle so this challenge is definetly going to be interesting.

Because someone in the games had it at the start. You could make the same argument for wooloo, but wooloo isnt in emerald kaizo and wasnt used in the video, so its pointless.

Besides Marill, you could also argue that Ralts is a starter because Wally had one. And unrelated to Emerald, but Wololoo and Morpeko as well. But official starters include only the regional grass, fire and water starters as well as Pikachu since Yellow and Eevee since Let's Go Eevee. Eevee was also Gary's starter in Yellow, but you can't choose it so it was not official before Let's Go games.

Immediately when you said that there are lots of toxic stallers I knew that Bulbasaur would be irreplaceable, just because of its typing. Moreover, Bulbasaur is possibly the best support pokemon of all starters. That's why it's often thought of as a weak starter, because normal playthroughs don't need support and you can go all out offensive, and its offensive movepool is a usually quite shallow. But in reality it is strategically one of the best starters. Edit: Ah yeah but you went almost all out offensive anyways... I thought this would be a bit more strategic thinking.

My team consist of Marowak (lightningrod, dmg dealer), Pelipper (swift swim, dmg dealer), Chimecho (levitate, tank) and switches between Pinsir, Metagross, Arcanine, Ludicolo. My HM slave Tropius takes the last slot. Thinking of adding Dusclops for that pesky Explosion resistance. Such a difficult game and I love it, BUT I would like that you had access to more moves (like endless TM's) and some moves like Thunder, Solarbeam and Rain Dance/Sunny Day

I'm not even finished with this video but I want to shake the hand of whomever made this hack. Seriously. This is one of very few hacks that actually provides a brutal but fair challenge using legal means without relying on enemies sporting illegal moves and Pokemon on illegal levels. Even when enemies are super overleveled in this hack (like Wally's Ralts) the creator actually balances it out with their moveset to prevent it from being completely unfair. This person is a godsend to the hacking community.

SinisterHoodedFigure is maybe his name. I am playing this game. Actually grinding is interesting as pokemon encounter is super low in grass but good rod and super rods give you very good exp ans trainers quickly level up to 100. Spends hours and hours trying to beat Gabby and Ty. I usually grind a lot with trainers as it is way more interesting and it gives you a bit relief when you are not dying on like every single aqua or magma grunt.

nice joke. The hax is clearly rigged to give npcs an advantage. Sleep 100% accuracy and you ALWAYS wake up after 3+ turns, 2 if the game is feeling generous. They almost never miss their moves as well.

@@llewliet4021 There are many instances when my meganium woke up after one turn, for most of the time, it is two though. Try holding your pokemon with berries. Also, I grinded and made my Blaziken, Camerupt, Meganium, Blastoise, Charizard and Linoon reach 100 before reaching gym no. 8, and still my pokemons fainted some times. Grinding is not hard since trainers get ready super quickly (I already have over 850+ battles), there are lucky eggs (I found 12 of those), super rod gives you 65 Lv pokemons (good exp) and you can strategize in a way so that your pokemons can beat Lv 90 or 100 pokemons when your level is like 70. I am infront of the victory road. This game is super unfair, but that also makes it very challenging. Was inspired by Zwiggo, and also watched Mr Ding Dong Games video on it. There is another guy who uploaded his whole emerald kaizo journey on YT. I have taken many helps from those, especially for the mind boggling puzzles.
