I love how dumb everyone in Hoenn is. The world's top Pokemon researcher is utterly bamboozled by a level 2 Zigzagoon. One of the bad guy teams thinks that Groudon's favorite color is blue (and vice versa). Not to mention they want to rid the world of water, which literally every living creature needs to survive. Your rival doesn't even fully evolve his/her starter Pokemon nor do they make it to the Elite 4. There must be something in the water in Hoenn.
