Link cables. You can use them in this game to evolve trade pokemon, so getting pokemon like: Alakazam, Machamp and Gengar, or any trade evolutions, is a lot easier. When I played this game, I used one of those, to get a Gengar. The first time in my life I've had one.

So with the question mark at around 5 mins in the double battle, if you have the egg that's not hatched yet as your 2nd party member, you will send out the lvl 5 togepi that hatches from it in the originals to battle. Even gets exp from it, can attack and everything. Found it really funny so thought I'd share :)
