i ran this game knife only (speedrun) and there was a community of us trying to do it on VoS, we managed to do 90% of it but some bosses are sooo long. Moreau has 28 000HP and you do 25 damage per hit. to do it while blocking at the right time took 45 minutes. the flies on dimitrescu's fight are unavoidable if the towers are destroyed so they will kill you trough the block and as such if you dont kill her fast enough the fight becomes impossible. then there's mother miranda's projectiles and the second phase of heisenberg.... in the end only 2 runners were able to do it in VoS....with the karambit, one of them has World record in all the knife only for RE3 remake difficulties. Without karambit, we didnt manage it. Doing it on Hardcore is the hardest difficulty its possible to do on with base knife, Dante was alone to try this, we were almost 20 knife only runners trying to find ways to do the fights.

Hey Dante, I don’t know if you know this, or have already done this, but the very first Lucan you encounter can be 100% avoided.if you go back into the house to obtain the bolt cutters, the Lucan de-spawns. I don’t know about the second enemy, but I know the first one. Anyway, I love your videos man. You got me into resident evil, and I appreciate it. Now I can be absolutely terrified, but I know, deep down, Leon is out there somewhere showing his dance recital off to some boys about to play bingo 😄

For anyone still attempting this. Please note that the biggest weakness of the Giants with the Axe/Hammer's is anything they are forced to walk around. Anything like Pillars, Rocks or whatever is big enough to be like a table they are forced to walk around it, this is especially helpful if they are using an overhead power attack where they need to walk towards you to use it, as they will be forced to keep walking until their attack timee wears off and they will unleash the power attack on the ground away from you for as long as you keep running around the opposite side of the object they are struggling with. This strat also applies to the F'er in the Beneviento Grave section of your returning hoping to get that sweet juicy Lei... I mean cash!. This generally applies to all difficulties unless you have the Infinite Ammo cheat turned on if your just trying to farm money in the story mode for achievements and stuff.
