Planes are great set the first one or two for most health and they will destroy bosses, then have one or two for armor and for shield, then the rest on progress. keep it up

You may have been able to make it further if you had pointed the mortar towers at most armor. All towers were focused on progress so they were firing at the same front targets. Prioritizing the towers based on their damage multipliers may be helpful.
