Today I learned that Droops is a disease in Skyrim, and that vampires apparently aren't immune to it. It's definitely an oversight, but I like to imagine that the reason the blood pool doesn't give you droops is because vampires aren't immune to it, so the vampires make sure to prevent droops infected blood from entering the pool

Re: double Rockjoint: There are actually near-identical duplicates of each "normal" disease (that is, everything but Sanguinare V.): one that is applied by creatures, and one that is applied by traps. The Redwater spring probably gave you the trap-applied variants, which meant the wolves were still able to infect you with creature-applied Rockjoint! The effects are identical and stack; AFAIK the only substantive difference is the chance that they are applied, so that not every (e.g.) wolf bite inflicts Rockjoint, whereas the trap-applied diseases actually work reliably when they are called by script. (I am not certain about this last point - would have to check the game data again to be sure.)

There is actually a hoe (like the gardening tool) in oblivion you can get, in the mehrunes razor plugin, that has a 100% chance to give your enemy a random disease, and personally i would love to see a video where you try to beat oblivion with only the hoe, great video by the way

Challendge idea! Can you beat Skyrim as a Cultist? Rules are that you need to pick ONE god to worship, it can be any god so long as its a god, and then you can only do things, use weapons or armor, that are appropriate for worshippers of the god you choose. So for example if you pick Stendarr then you have to use the items of a vigilant of stendarr and must hunt down daedra and other evil creatures or if you pick Mehrunes Dagon then you need to use Mythic Dawn robes and use fire spells and summon Dremora Lord and do chaotic things or if you pick Talos then you need to do the civil war questline for the Stormcloaks and kill all the thalmor soldiers. etc etc, this would be an interesting challendge

Skyrim's diseases are basically inconsequential. Instead you should try and beat Oblivion as a Vampire without feeding. Also copying one of my other suggestions in case it was missed: Can you play New Vegas as one of those Wild Wasteland Grandmas/Maud Muggers? Only use weapons that can be found at a kitchen, and whatever the Muggers are using. (Lead pipes, knives, switch blades, cleaver, rolling pin, tire iron? and whatever you want in some technicalities) Of course, trying your best to make a grandma character in the character creation is a must. (optional) Only use food to heal, because Grandma says no to drugs, and considers Stimpax to be one of them. Who knows what the past government put in 'em.

That'd be hell because I can't even PLAY Oblivion as a Vampire. I had Vincente bite me once, and then after the easiest contract became the most tedious and difficult thing on this planet, I said fuck black soul gems I'll just revert the space time continuum to before I ever contracted it in the first place. Being a Vampire in Skyrim is really fun, especially if you were turned by Harkon or Serana. But in Oblivion? Fuck. That. Fuck absolutely everything about that. No one will talk to me, people will attack me on sight, I take active damage during sunlight hours making fast travel the worst decision I could ever make, forcing me to dip and dive out of caves to wait for nighttime, and on top of that, getting cured is difficult as fuck thanks to how rare Black Soul Gems are. I get making the game more difficult, but that was easily the most unbearable and unfun experience of my life. The most fucked up part? Oblivion is my favourite TES game lol

I got a good challenge “can you beat fallout 4 as a comic book nerd?” In the run you may only use gorgnak’s axe and the silver machine gun and wear gorgnak’s and the sliver shroud outfits, but the real part of the challenge is you can’t level up the only way you can get perks are from comic books (not magazines)

The space suit from the Captain Cosmos CC content would be the obvious choice, but a hazmat suit could be an alternative if no CC stuff is allowed for the run. (The space suit costume in nuka world is basically a reskin of the hazmat suit and looks like a space suit, so we can go with that)

Im not sure if it was ever fixed but i remember a bug where argonian's natural disease resistance, paired with lycanthropy, actually gives you 150% disease resistance, which in turn causes your disease resistance to roll back over to 50%. so you can actually get lycanthropy, vampirism, and all the minor diseases as well

Fun fact, the Silverhand will still spawn at the fort by dawnstar where they take the fragmented of Wuthrad, even if you’ve never talked to the companions. I know this because I wanted to play a vampire with dawnbreaker, but didn’t want to be constantly blowing Serana up with the turn undead effects of Dawnbreaker while doing the quests for dawgaurd.

In One of my verrry first Skyrim playthroughs, I did the fight with Uthgerd the Unbroken but accidentally hit her after the game decided the fight was over, and then I spent the next 5 minutes trying to run away/hide/get her to strike a guard or some other NPC to take her focus off me, however eventually she died. And that’s when I learned how to get a near-full set(w/o the helmet) of steel plate armor before level 5. Maaan was I disappointed when I eventually saw the steel plate helmet. I preferred the two unique imperial helmets that you can find on the one imperial lady if you follow Ralof at Helgen and are attacked by 3 imperial soldiers. The other is at the verrrrry end of the trading company warehouse outside Solitude. The only downside is those helmets are a slightly lighter color of grey, so if you looked for more than a few seconds you could tell it’s not a matching set:,(

On legendary dificulty I got rockjoint 75% debuf after getting out of cave and completed the first quest quest for the jarl and defeated the dragon. I didnt knew I had it and thought it was part of the dificulty. I wish I saw your video first lol. So much information!! Well done!

Isn't lycanthropy a disease though? Maybe if you exploited an enchanting glitch to make a resist disease necklace with resistance that overflows into the negatives, you could have lycanthropy and diseases? Or you could use the the Ring of Hircine to keep the ability after being cured?

That wouldn't work. Becoming a werewolf would unequip the hypothetical overflow amulet regardless, and then just cure the diseases. Also using the Ring of Hircine would just be getting the benefits of lycanthropy without any actual disease and be irrelevant to the challenge.

No because it's a gift from hircine. It also depends on how it's contracted to constitute as disease or bless. Doing ritual to become lycanthropic is a form of blessing. If on other hand you run into a werecreature and get infected against will then it's technically disease but still moot as many (myself included) see it as a gift from Hircine.

The premise for this run reminded me of what would have been a cool artifact for Peryite (you know, instead of the shield he stole from the Dwarves). What if he gave a weapon, like a dagger or something, that would inflict a target with a random disease on hit, essentially becoming a crazy debuff tool? A lot of these diseases can be rather crippling, so why not let the player use them to their advantage?

A very tough challenge you could try: Beating skyrim against max scaled enemies Level your character to level 100 or something using legendary skills. All enemies are incredibly strong and have extra abilities like the draugr overlords, but youre as strong as a level 1.
