I'm currently playing SE4 in co-op on Auth+ as well, no manual saves, because my partner wants to go for the achievement! It's pretty brutal at times, but loud is honestly the only way to go, I feel. You have absolutely no chance of staying undetected, and if you don't clear the AI you get swarmed from multiple sides. Going loud and doing a full-clear of an area from cover / a defensible position before moving on is just the most viable play. We're now at mission 5 (Abrunza Monastery) and it's pretty spicey. Edit: If you're struggling with long range shots, I recommend going Springfield with the T-post Tactical sight. Get a feel for wind and drop in the shooting range and you should be in good shape pretty fast up to 200m at least. Most important thing is to get comfortable with a single rifle and scope and sticking with it.

We are currently on Abrunza Monastery and it’s gruelling. The ‘no saves’ achievement is actually the easiest to achieve on regular Authentic because auto saves don’t count, which is how I got it. I wish you luck getting through this difficulty without saves at all! It’s very possible, but it’s really tough!

Aah man, i remember getting every achievement in this game and completing this game on A+ without creating a manual save on solo, that was a total PAIN. The Lorino Dockyard and Magazzeno facility were the worst ones for me since in both of these i had a moment where i did almost every main objective and then i died for a stupid reason. The Allagra fortress was very painful but not as the previous two because I knew a spot where you could spawncamp and kill soldiers safely. GOD I'm so glad that i have every achievement in this game (including the dlcs) 😖📌

I really don't. I have blown myself up on multiple occasions when spraying down an NPC up close with an SMG in interior locations. It's like they're made out of explodium.

Carcaaaanooooo! FNAB is your man for SMG though... low damage, but superb control, and you can single shot with it easily...

He's voiced by a German voice actor doing a posh English accent and it's weird AF. I'll try the FNAB next time, we've already blasted through to the end of mission 3, so I'll try it in mission 4! The Carcano is my favourite rifle in this game, and in SE3!

We will, when we get to it! We're playing through in sequence because Darth Stark has never gone past mission 4. We're on Abrunza Monastery at the moment, so Deathstorm 3 will be a little while off yet (at least the video will be). It is coming, though.

It takes a bit of time to get used to it and it changes depending on the rifle characteristics. If you pick a rifle with a high muzzle velocity and stick with it, its not so bad. You do eventually get used to it, it just takes some practice to get the feel for it.
