Honestly some of the games are a bit too long for a dedicated challenge run for the channel, so probably not any time soon. I do have a bunch of them on a bucket list so eh, who knows about the future.

There are randomizer mods for some of the earlier games that make the games a LOT quicker, and have some pretty dedicated speedrunning/challenge run communities built around them, but thats probably a bit different than what you're after.

Between the timed missions and the creep, this challenge looks a lot harder than it sounds. I think in Rak'Shir a few of the attack waves are created with buildings though most are spawned with triggers. In the Growing Shadow zerg starts by building attack waves but then switches to mutalisks spawned at the edge of the map so I know Blizzard switches it up. I still have zealot only Growing Shadow PTSD so I know that map better than I should.

@@zoura_3025 It's one of those games that's a "What you see is what you get" deal. if you want to try it out the Wings of Liberty campaign (the one I love the most) is entirely free and I'd suggest playing through that if you're interested. I think by the end of the campaign you should generally be able to tell if you'd like it or not.

No, you can't. 1. The spear needs some manner of vision to be effective meaning that you'd need scouting units. 2. Multiple missions are time limited, and the spear does NOT regen energy fast enough to defend and attack. 3. The celestial locks cannot be captured by the spear. 4. Defense missions often get attacks on multiple sides. You can't shoot all three sides with the spear.
