I'm honestly surprised you found this challenge Easy, considering Wolf is Very Formidable to Face. But I suppose with enough Time and Experience, you can take on any Adversary in Stronghold Crusader. Keep up the Awesome Work! I ROFL'd at you losing Popularity without realizing it, since that tends to happen to me as well.

you & rat vs wolf, saladin and emir; you are only allowed to produce bows and only use european archers as units (no food, no other weapons, no wood/stone/iron) and rat must deliver the killing blow on each lord

Doesn't sound bad! I had a "boosting your ally" challenge where I would only be allowed to send goods to them and have them do all the fighting! Unfortunately that didn't go as well as I expected because at some point the AIs will start struggling with spending their resources!

true, the AI will struggle but maybe you can give him a push by defending him with archers? and okay maybe rat is too difficult as he s just so weak but a lord like sultan would easily deliver killing blows on depleted castles because of his swordsmen. so idk..snake maybe?🤣

I know I said this before, but I really want you to try it, because I got destroyed. Beat 7 rats on any map, using only archers and spearmen (his troops). If it is too hard, you can do it on extreme. and do it on a 7000/20000 advantage.

If those are the only conditions then that's way too easy. Just overfill a single tower with archers and get an economic advantage until you are ready to attack. Rats are terrible at sieging so they should just get decimated by a well-placed tower.

@@kaapokoodaa And I tried doing that. It won't work. Since I am on a 7000/20000 advantage, it will be hard to have many archers. And they will attack too soon. I would like to see you try it :)

​@@A4E2F6I9 Well, I was bored so I just did your challenge for the heck of it. Crete peninsula, top right corner, 7 Rats, and 7000/20000 advantage like you said, and 90 speed from the start. I was not using the unofficial patch. Edit: corrected an error. I started by immediately deleting my stockpile and moving it to the iron in the top right corner. I bought a ton of wood and built a market, a few houses, and an armory and a barracks. I hired some archers immediately, and while waiting for new recruits I built a square tower with a small gatehouse (to prevent occupation) at a central location guarding the entrance, and a single piece of wall for quickly overcrowding it. I bought as many bows as I could on a short notice, disbanded my starting spearmen for more recruits, and hired as many archers as I could, and placed them on the tower. The first attack from the nearest Rat was easily deflected with minimal casualties. I placed a granary, hop farm, and as many iron mines as I could fit on to the northern site in a hurry. I sold my starting resources and hired more archers and put them on the tower. My tower was not entirely covering the north side of the entrance, so a few spearmen got past the tower from the northern Rat. I quickly bought a few spears to hire spearmen in response to clear them out which worked perfectly. I sold some iron and bought enough stone to build another square tower. I put only a few archers on it as it was enough. I had neglected my popularity a little and I ran out of food and recruits. I bought some emergency apples, and because of my iron economy and starting resources, I even had enough money to buy a cathedral and a church to get the +3 popularity bonus. I also set the taxes to negative to quickly regain my popularity so that I could hire more archers. I built five breweries and three inns so that I don't have to babysit my peasants. I slapped down some low walls to make sure that all attacks are zoned in near the towers. I kept hiring archers and soon I had enough to evaporate any attacking force with ease. I built more towers further southwest and secured the second iron site and stone for additional income. From there my economy just snowballed and I was able to hire more archers than I would ever need. I built a forward tower right next to the first Rat and put most of my archers on it. I had reached the army cap so I had to kill the first and second Rats like this although it did not take long. At this point I had so many archers I could just throw them away and I begun the offensive. I left around 80 archers on a central tower to defend and attacked with everything else. I met some enemy troops on the field but they simply got folded. Rats don't always build a closed castle so sometimes I was able to march my 200+ archers right in and melee the Rat lord. For the few closed castles I built around 25 spearmen to quickly take down the gatehouse to let my archers in. Poor Rats didn't stand a chance.

@@kaapokoodaa Nice job! But for some reason they attack TOO early on. And btw, I just realized that you can spam monks. Monks will absolutely crush them, for 10 gold each, with the real cost being the cathedral. Anyways, you really crushed them. GG!
