Im actually playing this game right now at 87%. I love that the fire arrow can sometimes deal with heavy armored enemies better than the other guns (fully charged headshots can kill them is what I mean by being better). Gonna love watching the vid!

I distinctly remember the climbing axe not only being a good fallback, but the weapon I got the most kills with. It carried me through pretty much every modern Tomb Raider game. It's GOOD, and helps you climb the mountain of bodies it leaves behind.

Why is this game so adamant about going the intended route? Would opening a gate before killing everyone ruin the game? If a way to skip a battle is found why does it need to be patched out (especially if it is not super obvious)? i am very familiar with this game and this challenge would have been much easier if you had looked for collectibles, done area challenges, and looted enemies as these things give you exp. the axe melee skill unlocks automatically after you unlock a certain amount of other skills with exp. if you collect everything possible in every area as you go, you can unlock enough skills so that the axe melee skill unlocks as early as the campsite at the beginning of the snowy area before the radio tower. also, the final three skills in the brawler category are melee counters that usually instakill enemies and do not utilize guns or the bow.

I would’ve recommended buying skills. Some you wouldn’t be able to use due to the challenge, but one of them lets you do a quick time event every time you dodge a melee attack and then counter attack if you make the quick time. Enough more upgrades and doing the counter will insta kill most enemies. it would’ve been perfect lol Edit: didn’t know he was dead. May he rip
