The strategy of going for pristine weapons near the end of the run is a good one - but you set yourselves up for failure by being too protective of your weapons up to that point. The statues in the depths pick from a pool of weapons that starts off containing just the Traveller's weapons. The only way to add weapons to that pool is to have the decayed versions of them spawn and *shatter*. As you were rationing weapons, you never built up a good pool of pristine weapons for the statues to randomise from. Also - if you're in the depths early in the run, take the weapons and drop them. The randomisation happens when the statue first loads in. Blood moon will replace statues that are empty, but will not re-roll weapons you didn't take.

If you can attach an opal to a magic rod, it throws water balls everywhere that can clean up poop. Has lots of durability as well. On the topic of elemental fruits and jellies: throwing one fruit or jell into a group of jells can turn them all into that element. Probably useful for Queen Gibdo.

I just watched this challenge and your desert-only challenge and was inspired to do my own try at a region-locked challenge and I chose the Zoras domain part of Lanayru (mainly because I really didn't want to have to fight Mucktorok lol) It was really hard finding food and materials, especially fairys since most of the sky there is the water temple. I spent my last 15 prep minutes cutting grass for the 1-5% chance a fairy spawns and got super lucky getting one. the Zora weapons are super fun especially with Sidons water powering em up. Made it all the way to Seized Construct before dying because I accidentally electrocuted myself on the cage fence oops. Still a very fun challenge and I would love to see yall do some more, especially with the regions that have sages!

That was a fantastic run! Next time you face Poop Shark, I recommend getting an Opal Rod. You can craft it with a regular sword, but a Magic Rod would be more effective if you can find one. That way you won’t have to worry so much about Splash Fruit or arrows.
