You did Lanayru!! the fairies in the grass are really a godsend, It was so fun watching y'all do this region since I tried a region-only run in Lanayru for fun a while back! for future runs I think you could maybe increase the time to 6-8 hours so there could potentially be 2 blood moons, and def allow Korok seeds but only those within the region since that still fits within the spirit of the run

Nice run! Well done you guys get closer each time.. My opinion on a good way to make it more do-able but keep the spirit of the challenge would be to do something like you can pick up weapon handles only in the end once the timer is up but fusible items for arrows/weapon tips must have been gathered in your region and already be in your inventory . So grab all the sticks and clubs you like off those enemies but you can't use their horns etc For a central hyrule run I think you should keep the same rules for below when the timer is done so no pickups (or whatever you change it too). Looking forward to the next one!

Hi Basement! Well done on the Poop Shark run! I would say that collecting weapons from the army should be allowed at this point - especially since you don't have access to a bunch of octorocs to improve weapon durability and the slots are very limited. Maybe koroks would also be useful (from that particular region) -> and later allowed to exchange at the Lookout Landing? And maybe 5 hours is not enough, after all for the full prep? you can always give yourself a "working day" -> 8 hours ;) In this particular region, I would definitely focus on getting diamonds (e.g. 3 shrines in Lanayru have them) - but instead of exchanging it for money, I would get the Lightscale Trident. Thanks to your videos, we already know how overpowered this thing can be :) Oh, and I definitely recommend focusing on getting the sapphires, rubies and topazes (I'm doing my bow-only run) -> I love to use them during almost all stages of the army and bosses fights ;)

With these regional only runs, I think you should be allowed to pick up anything once you're in the castle. After all, it's not like anything in the castle provides buffs, or extra hearts. You're just replacing what you broke to get to that point. Even if it's an upgrade, you would have earned it by getting to that point.

I love this series so much! I’d be interested to know if this challenge is easier or harder in BotW. It’d be cool to see you retry some of these regions but in BotW. As far as adapting the challenge, I like that there are limits to everything, so maybe instead of saying you can pick up anything during the final run, maybe there’s a limit to how much you can pick up. That way you still have to be strategic about it and you can’t rely on what you can get in the castle too much.

A blood moon (panic moon) happens like that whenever you visit one of the four regional phenomena villages before your first blood moon in the game…the game does not expect the player to go to one of the main villages till later in the game but just in case, it adds a panic moon in order for the game to catch up with the player…it’s almost as a way the game “resets” itself without losing the data and to make sure there are no mistakes since the game time is earlier than expected

Great attempt by Peter that you got the boss construct finally. Ideas: 1 Only North Hyrule Field Region 2 Only Great Hyrule Forest Region 3 Only the Complete Depths with a single Shrine activated in Noth Hyrule Region (no sky towers) 4 Doing Gerudo Desert area (2 hours), Lanayru Great Spring area (2 hours), Eldin area (2 hours), Hebra Mountains area (2 hours), and Spirit temple (Faron area) (2 hours) Note - you must complete and defeat boss at each temple in the two hours. Also can collect only depths items for 2 more hours after temples are done (Good Luck)

theres this climbing glitch so you climb anywhere and it saves that climbing state, you fast travel somewhere else and get really close to a climbable wall without climbing it, jump and as link starts to fall you open then minus menu, watch and skip a memory, while watching the memory hold and continue to hold up on the left joystick, exit the menu using minus button and it can cause some weird effects like falling out of bounds, if you do this with your initial climbing position as somewhere in lookout landing then go to the ukouh shrine and get really close to the shrine without climbing the wall of the shrine you can force a blood moon 100% of the time. it doesnt spawn stronger enemies but it does reset everything, my main use for this is to be able to repair items on command using octorocks or to resupply plants and enemy respawns. hope this helps

Closest thing to a panic moon recipe I could find is a Chinese Moon Cake recipe so here ya go: Prep time: 60 min Cook time: 10 min Yield: 12 Ingredients: -100gm plain flour -60gm golden syrup -1/2 tsp alkaline water -28gm avocado oil Fillings: -420gm lotus seed purée/paste -6 salted egg yolks -1tbsp rose flavored cooking wine Egg wash: -1 egg yolk -2 tbsp egg white Method: 1. Use a large bowl, mix the golden syrup, alkaline water and oil well. Sift in the flour. Use a spatula to combine all ingredients. Don’t over-stir. Knead into a dough. Cover with a film wrap and rest for 40 minutes. 2. Mix egg yolks with wine. If the salted egg yolks are homemade and freshly broken from the shells, you’ll see the egg whites would turn opaque after mixing with the wine a few minutes later. Wipe dry the yolks with kitchen paper. Cut each into two halves. Set aside. Roll lotus paste into a long tube. Cut into 12 equal portions, each 35 grams. Roll each portion into a ball shape. Set aside. 3. Preheat oven to 180C (356F). Prepare the egg wash: whisk the egg yolk with the egg white. Sift through a fine sieve. 4. Divide the dough into 12 equal portions. Roll each portion into a small ball shape. Cover a dough portion with a plastic film and roll into a thin disc. Then take a lotus paste ball and poke a hole in the middle with your finger. Place egg yolk inside. Roll and shape into a ball. Wrap and seal the lotus paste ball with the dough disc. Spray the mooncake mould and place the stuffed mooncake into the mould. Lightly press the mould handle, then remove the mooncake from the mould. Transfer the stuffed mooncake onto a lined baking tray. Repeat this step to finish the remaining dough and lotus paste. 5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 to 12 minutes. Brush the mooncakes with egg wash, at about 5 minutes before removing from the oven. Continue to bake until the pastry turns golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack. Store in an air-tight container. The pastry will become soft and shiny in one or two days. Notes: How important is the alkaline water in this recipe? It neutralizes the acid in the golden syrup. It helps to give nice browning on the mooncake pastry. If adding alkaline water too much, the colour will be too dark. If adding not enough, it’s very difficult to brown the mooncake pastry. In this recipe, the amount of alkaline water is very balanced. Please take note that if you use other kind of golden syrup, the amount of alkaline water might need to be adjusted accordingly in order to give a nice browning effect. You might test run with a small amount of dough to see how many alkaline water has to be used properly with your own golden syrup. In this recipe, you might've noticed that no baking powder is needed. But the mooncake pastry is soft with a bit fluffy texture, that's the effect produced by alkaline water. Side note: The filling shouldn’t have too much moist. Otherwise the pastry will turn moist and sticky after a while. The consistency and texture of filling is controlled by the amount of oil used, not by water.

In the game code, there is a circle around each reagonal fenomenom like zoras domain or gerudo town. When there hasnt been a bloodmoon (so you see zelda in the animation), it forces a bloodmoon.

Tip for Seized Construct: one-handed swords, fuse something long to them (lizalfos tails or spears work best), and spin attack (soldier’s broadswords are great with their quick charge). Any charged attack or combo finisher does the same knockback, so you want to get to that last hit as quickly as possible.

If u can find cannons somewhere in the sky. Fusing them to a weapon really helps with the seized construct fight. Also I think adding a rule making it so u can fuse items dropped in the final fight to existing weapons In your inventory would be a cool rule.

I think you should allow picking up of materials when you get down to a certain point till like one last weapon. Maybe one or two last meals and if you go into the castle with stuff, you should be able to maybe make a fire and cook some thing so like if you have like a cooking pot and you have all the materials before going in the castle you should be able to cook meals while you’re there because you already had it.
