Is it Possible to Escape Hyrule?

What it looks like to me is 3 barriers. 2 soft barriers and one hard barrier. The first soft one is the intended boundary of the game, the second is a backup boundary that forms a perfect square around the map, and the 3rd is the actual edge of the game as a whole. If I'm correct, it is actually impossible to go behind the 3rd barrier unless you code in a place beyond the 3rd barrier.

@@kyrars6724 There's a theory that Hyrule is on the same planet as the Mario planet, and the goddesses specifically sealed Hyrule away from the rest of the world to keep demise's spawn in quarantine so no one can enter or leave. We know other continents exist on the same planet as Hyrule because of spirit tracks. Mario Odyssey is the only Mario game where we have a good look of the geography of Mario's planet which is definitely NOT earth (the layouts of the continents are completely different) and on an uninhabited part of the map where no visitable kingdoms are you can see the BotW overworld map with all the details like lakes and rivers and stuff included. Hyrule is located on the Mario planet as about the same size and location of China on our planet. (Mario planet is slightly smaller than ours and therefore has less gravity)

If TotK works similarly to BotW, the second barrier is called an air wall and will constantly push you away unlike the first barrier which was simply an invisible wall like many others. Also, if you get passed an air wall, there's no collision on the ground or water so you will fall and sink forever. Though, this information comes from BotW so it might not be exactly how it works in TotK...

@@leedlelel2373 Well, they didn't really intend players to get there in the first place (especially in botw as there was no hoverbike) so the first barrier is pretty much just a way to prevent players to get to the plateau, when the air wall is there to prevent players to escape hyrule entirely. Obviously, Nintendo knew players would break their game and made sure to place the air wall all around the map and all the way up to the sky, but they didn't really care about players escaping to the plateau and simply put an invisible wall there.

@@Gyra_Soyra I know, and I've gotten there aswell, but those are secondary air walls, not the actual ones. In this case, the secondary air wall is just the first barrier as it is called in the video. Pretty much just a normal invisible wall since it doesn't constantly puch you away like an actual air wall does.

make "Termina" fields since all timelines merge in BOTW onward after the whole hyrule warrors thing, and have Termina be a neighboring kingdom where you can see old character's such as Romani or Malon/Lon Lon Ranch/Romani Ranch, and seeing some troubles going on over there much to almost like Majora's Mask, but they too effected by what Calamity Ganon had done and help a bit with their problems. Even meeting their Zora Tribe seeing how Yona in TOTK said she wasn't even from that domain and was from another one meaning there are other kingdoms and places that we don't get to see. so if someone could mod in Termina/Termina fields and make it it's own town/place with such like that, that would be the most amazing mod ever.

I wouldn't say entirely seeing how OoT/Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, and I guess in a sense Twilight Princess if you count going into the realm of twilight where that's Midna's kingdom--- that he CAN travel through will out of hyrule it's just those links never really encountered another ganon, they only fought him once. this one has gone through two damn ganon's already technically Demise himself since they're referencing 10k years ago which was Demise but probably in a mortal form. And unlike the other's sadly, Link this one, was raised to be a Knight by his father who was one as well, while the other's either just born on an island, in the Kokori Forest with his parents dead, in his own little village etc, those links never had a father figure much nor was he in a family of Knights while this one was. so he probably has the obligation to just stick around hyrule. and no reason to leave unlike the others who def. had a reason to leave since they weren't bound to it nor had too many friends to feel the need to stay since OoT link left to find his fairy his only friend that he saw since Saria was a Sage, that had left. And even Zelda saying it was his time to leave hyrule. so he isn't bound to hyrule this one just made more friends along the way to stay in hyrule and be the appointed knight. actually in wind waker's story about what had happened, it even mentions that the hero of time never showed up again to help making them drown their own kingdom and create new lands above the sea. Meaning that Link left that kingdom a long time ago in search for his own journey's in life.

you know as a zelda junkie, I"m more surprised that they made the land actually walkable lol. seeing how that means devs KNEW that people would at least TRY to go past the barrier but still there are repercussions like wind blowing you back, very cold winds, having to use important items etc. honestly I know obviously the game and all other zelda games are always focused around Hyrule but there was that always thing in mind that I'd love is to see a Zelda game that goes BEYOND hyrule. You're always almost always in it besides Majora's Mask, or if you count going into the desert in Twilight Princess "outside o hyrule" but I'd love to see a game where they travel outside of hyrule. like meet other nations and such since even Prince Sidon's wife as she says in the game, she is from another kingdom/zora tribe. which we never get to see, meaning outside of Hyrule. so I'd love it if Link would travel outside since I don't think (correct me if I'm wrong though since I've been wrong before lol. since zelda lore is kind of all over the place) That most of the time Link doesn't really marry zelda. Sure I'll admit maybe in some games it may seem like he has but then there are those rumors of him being with Romani (which I REALLLY FREAKING WISH THEY PUT IN BOTW AND TOTK seeing how it's a RANCH. I'd love to see Melon or Romani in the game in higher quality where she's just her simple farm girl singing her song, and not just Kass or some stables just having it in the background.....especially since they had the oppertunity in literally in Henato Village with their literal ranch...I can't tell you how upset I am that they didn't do a reference or a thing to Lon Lon Ranch or Romani ranch.....she needs more love man lol) But him being with her etc seeing how every King of Hyrule isn't Link nor is it stated anywhere that he was ever THE king of hyrule. That it seemed like almost like with Sidon that you pair with another royal blood outside of Hyrule or at least in another kingdom. That you have to go outside of Hyrule to find a prince worthy of Zelda's hand and will be the perfect match for her. I mean in a sense it does make sense, seeing how Zelda is hylia reborn, etc, that she's the princess, and he's just the appointed Knight that makes sure the princess is always safe, even as friends. But never to the point of marriage (even if hinted at, at first, in Skyward Sword that, that Link had seemingly feelings for her.. And for all we know every Link COULD but can't due to those circumstances because he needs to have royal blood as it seems to rule a kingdom. That owning the master sword or even the triforce of courage isn't really qualifications. that it seems that they all take the name Daphnes, so they either take Zelda's last name, or she must marry a man with that last name that holds the royal blood line. Not sure. Never really discussed lol) but it would be great to see a world (besides Majora's Mask lol and I guess yes even WInd Waker Hourglass a spin off the other game being out of Hyrule but mostly made of sea) would love to have him travel outside of Hyrule to carry out that task for a new kingdom. and see new faces etc. and it spawning an enemy was curious.....I wonder if the devs had plans to let people explore but would still die in the process or it being an explorable wasteland with nothing to do anyway. but just decided because upper meaning miyamoto said no to that.

The reason Link always ends up questing his way out of the country is because it's way more fun and less stressful than dealing with the issues of potential harem members add to that the pay, the cool magic and items as well as the health benefits from Pieces of Heart, and stamina increases one has to wonder why any hero would settle down. Then we remember that Link has to endlessly save the world and all the stuff he goes through and Wonder if it's actually worth it.

I noticed a boundary in the game that isn't even a barrier in Tears of the Kingdom it looks possible to reach with enough stamina there's a reason you can get a lot of stamina in the game a lot of rumors had it in Breath of the Wild in these fields you would spawn a UFO type boss which is kind of strange how Nintendo took it out of the game. It seems like they were gonna do it in Tears of the Kingdom as well did the aliens really engineer Hyrule wouldn't it kind of make sense seeing how the shrine and guardian technology is almost alien?
