The 3 Sigma models are all in serious demand. The company is having trouble keeping up with it. Btw, good score on that Dahlonega bar (no relation to the short lived Dahlonega Mint). They were known for their holiday themed bars, but one of their more collectible bars is the Elvis bar. (With two variants)

I ended up buying a pocket pinger, cost $50 here in Canada and doesn't come with the app. Given my ears are 65 yo, using my hearing isn't very useful. Did find some free apps but they're limited in what they test, and the test sometimes work, sometimes don't, have to keep hitting the coin. Doesn't work well at all with gold coins and I know not all my gold coins are fake but you'd think so using the PP and the apps. Completely gone off gold since its easy to counterfeit and not be detected by anything for under $1000cdn.

U don't need a pinger if you have a wood desk. Just stand it up on the wood and tip over. It will have the distintive 'ping ' that silver makes.. the fake will be very different.

Hiding in my trigger wallet is a certain size Valcambi bar of gold in assay which has a big enough rectangular groove to fit one of those Rare Earth magnets in it that hides under a gold test card from the GoldLock website so that I'm able to test for gold anywhere I am but also I keep some other things in my wallet. Also, there's nothing like having that ping test app on your phone. Comes in handy quite often especially if you aren't in a noisy area when testing

If they test, and you test, then there’s way less room for error and that’s been my motto. I’ve received fakes from shops and discussed that on previous videos.
