Apartment with a pool, gym etc in the US you will be looking at least 2000 USD unless its a rundown area like detriot or kensington, then when you get out of your apartment onto the main street you will find homeless and tents.

@7:55, China’s land development moves at hyper speed. Sabrina’s apartment will be surrounded by more modern shopping centers, parks, commercial office buildings, hotels, and more condos- these are part of the urban Masterplan. Within 2 years, Sabrina wouldn’t recognize her neighborhood.

And 65 000 yuan per year is an official ave salary. So yes, according to official salary average person in China cannot buy an apartment taking into account current increadibly hign prices. But certanly can rent it. Can rent something. It obvious, foxconn employee cannot rent something in the compound like this. And it one of a kind country where to rent is cheaper than to buy.

This definitely is a steal. For that price & you get TWO toilets!!!! I used to paid over £350 - £400 in London just for a bedroom in a house sharing with other folks. Moved so many times due to dissatisfaction with the Landlords & the other occupants. I'd NEVER want to house share ever again!

That is incredible. If I want to live in an apartment similar to yours with that nice community and all those public amenities and conveniences, I will expect to pay at least 18 million VND a month, which is almost 800 USD. The RMB is more than triple of the VND, so you can imagine how expensive that would be for an ordinary office worker. In fact, only middle class family with combined income or individuals with exceptionally high salary can afford those kinds of house. China is a great example for other countries to follow. Don't be misled by the anti-China media, they all talk about how "evil" or "brutal" the CCP is with their own people, but the real daily life of people living in China always show the complete opposite. I don't think there is any other country that does a better job than China in keeping prices stable and improving the living conditions of its people.

我看到有评论说她住在杭州，南方的气候按她的方案买个电动自行车通勤没问题。国内开汽车通勤最大的问题不是考驾照上牌买车，而是路上车太多了交通拥堵。10多年前我在国内时，住在北京5环外，上班距离5公里，开车需要30分钟；现在我在加拿大，上班距离30公里，开车也是30分钟.....😢我估计如果她真开车上班，恐怕还没有自行车快。
