They did Dawn sooo dirty back in the 90s. They should have supported her when she wanted to re-negotiate their contract to get more than $0.02 per album. I love EV but En Vogue is Maxine, Terry, Cindy and Dawn. No one can sing those songs like the original 4

@@TheTruthAintInYa she was given an ultimatum because she wanted to do a solo album while the girls were figuring out what to do before EV3 was released and recorded. In their contracts every girl was given the opportunity to do a solo record and only Terry did one. She was told by a record exec that the girls wanted her to leave because they felt she wasn’t dedicated to the EV project anymore which was a lie because she was trying to negotiate for a better record deal for all of them. All the singles after don’t let go flopped with the exception of “whatever”. Dawn may seem “messy” or challenging to work with but she looked out for the group and not only for herself
