One problem with Kaizo levels now is that ten years ago, the people who made those hacks were inspired by the original games, which have a flow of their own. But people making Kaizo levels now are inspired by Kaizo hacks. They forgot that Mario is supposed to be fun, and that in the Mario games challenge is mixed with fun sections. A lot of Mario Maker creators should go back and see how Nintendo created levels.
