The Dropship looks big when picking up the custom AT-OT. Also fun fact: In universe, a Dropship cannot pick up an AT-OT because it’s too big.

@@BoredBricks I didnt forget, but I thought Lucasfilm generally pushed for general accuracy as they are reviewing the licensed toys (within reason of course) and if in universe the AT OT was in fact too large to be lifted by a dropship, and we know Episode 2 shows the AT-TE / Drop ship combination, why wouldnt Lego just pair the dropship with the ATTE instead of the AT-OT? Just curious.

I think you can just look on the instruction manual on how to do the legs then just do all the legs and do whatever you want with the seats and stuff and the floor over the legs

I had the 2009 set as a kid, packed away in a box now. I had no idea it was rare or anything like that, I do remember that the price tag was very large. I definitely prefer the older scale sets.

The AT-TE hull alone is actually shorter than the OT, the 22 meters includes the main gun extending beyond the hull

Personally I think the legs could use about 1 stud of length each so it doesn't look so squat, and the back could use a bit of random weight just to balance it nicely, but otherwise it looks pretty spot on

It looks exactly like something Lego would make if they were releasing the set, even has the downsizing lol. Aside from the front, as Lego would probably use the specific AT-OT printed/stickered cockpit piece from before.

If that AT-OT was 2-4 studs taller it would be almost perfect scale to the AT-TE. From the Felucia scene, it looks like the body of the AT-OT stands as tall as the AT-TE, the AT-TE being taller because of the turret.
