I actually owned the original dress. It's "Henrietta - the rose Grove" and the original looks exactly like the picture, has a beautiful bonnet and cape with it and is made out of a great quality ♡ the funny thing is that the original wasn't that much more expensive than this monstrosity of a replica. All of the dresses that had good pictures in your video where replicas from taobao brands (the long black one and the short whine one are also Henrietta)

Just say “hey it’s eBay but for this style of clothes” and that way if people are interested in the style they can get good quality things without having to invest too much money or get scared off by big prices. If people just want THAT EXACT DRESS then I guess tell them the brand?

Hi! Walmart apparel employee here, I'm not sure how many people are aware of this, but the clothing in store is treated much differently from the products online. The reason for that mainly being that Walmart online is more of a marketplace for other companies to use Walmart's namesake to attract people into their product (Which is why you'll often hear people say "Walmart scammed me, Walmart is selling fake products, etc...) this is also a way for overseas companies to distribute their product quicker by using Walmart's distribution facilities in some cases. Now I'm not agreeing with the Walmart corporates' choice to host illegitimate items, however as with all big companies, they want to grow and rely on the customer to know what they are buying. We also sell "popular' brands like Adidas and Champion, however only online. In stores however, The product is treated a lot differently and we do not sell anything super mocked up. I've seen brands that are carried in typical mall stores like Rue21 in my own Walmart (usually the jeans). People hold a stigma around Walmart's items due to the way the store is looked upon as "scummy". I've always been very careful with our clothing and even carry a small hand sewing bag with me to fix small holes in the seams. Anything that's not up to standard with what we can sell at full price is CVP'd, anything we just can't sell period is Claimed out and donated. I did NOT find this video disrespectful so this is not a rant or anything, I just would like to clear the air around why people find these things on Walmart . com. I would not recommend buying Lolita fashion from Walmart online due to the fact it is not anything Walmart can quality control itself. We have our own in store brands such as No Boundaries and we mainly focus on that type of apparel, not these things. The worst you'd find in store is around Halloween when the costumes roll in. Sorry for the long read!

When people ask you where you bought your dress.... as long as they ask nicely, why not just say "Angelic Pretty?" or "Baby the Stars Shine Bright"? I live in San Francisco, a couple blocks from AP (physical location is closed until the beginning of the month bc of the virus, SO sad :(....so that is generally what I say.. even if its an older dress that can no longer be bought in their stores... chances are alot of people will be scared away be the price.. but also, I don't really feel the need to explain the fashion, or myself, to anyone... (unless its a job interview or some shit, but unless I"m working at AP or BTSSB, or another Jfashion store anytime soon, I doubt I'll be wearing lolita to any job interviews.)

I know you're not a fan of actually buying this garbage (even though you are 100% doing the lolita lords work, and I salute you), but these types of videos have been INCREDIBLY informative and useful for me personally. I already wear the fashion regularly, but I am helping a friend get into the fashion after discovering her wearing a dress she bought from Wish. A lot of lolitas will simply say "don't buy from Wish/Amazon/Wal-Mart/etc because the quality isn't good," but new people, who have never experienced good OR bad quality lolita, don't know the difference and seem to just ignore that advice because they want something NOW. I've been sharing these videos with her because, especially in the Amazon and Ebay ones, you explained how to identify quality and legitimate lolita from the listings. But this video is a literal godsend, because you DID buy the dress, and it IS AWFUL quality, and I hope now my friend will finally listen and take this advice NOT TO BUY from these sites. I am incredibly appreciative of the work you do. Thank you so much!

I was into lolita years ago, and i had only btssb because the community was so elitist. I felt guilty buing non brand because other lolitas would have bullied me. Now i am goth that fits better my personality but i like to watch lolita videos. I sold most of my dresses, but i have some still in my collection i want to sell and some i want to keep. Where i am the community is dead i think.

Lor, I'm not a lolita but I LOVE watching your videos and have for years now! I think I've been subscribed since maybe 2014??? Anyway, I absolutely adore the fashion and I love your videos!

It's prolly already been suggested, but I'd def use that as a Halloween prop. Just drape it over a faux skeleton & say that the dress was so bad it killed them & so now they wander forever, warning people against buying cheap fake lolita.
