Creatures and objects within the dome when you cast this spell can move through it freely. All other creatures and objects are barred from passing through it. Spells and other magical effects can't extend through the dome or be cast through it. ... aka he would fall through his own dome. the one counter he might have is he had mage armour of a similar magical effect on him ... would that prevent him from passing through the magical dome. If it just summons a dome, he should still take fall damage, AND if the DM said "terminal veliocity" and the dome is passable from inside, which means that he'd fall right through it and he casted it under him normal orientation and didn't take fall damage it's still 10 ft (3m) in diameter and he would as an old man likely slip down and continue the fall and by the way if he reached terminal veliocity in about 50 seconds (in podcast) and assuming he has around 194 pounds falling from 4 km he would fall to ground in around 125 seconds meaning that if he stated he wants to cast the first "hut" (and as shown here the spell is used and wasted) in about 55 seconds from missing the target while casting it takes 60s each he couldn't finnish casting the second one by 40 seconds even if he would start casting it instantly after the first. Isn't that concerning? (I excluded all the math for your pleasure)
