Or you buy quick oats and nuke them with milk and butter for 2 minutes in the morning. I could see it being good if you were flavouring your oatmeals with more than brown sugar/maple syrup though.

(you can alter this to fit your own tastes): 1 large sweet onion (the big white one) 6-8 large carrots 2-3 medium potatoes 10 sticks celery 2 large bell peppers (I usually do a green and a red) Chop all those up to the sizes you want, put them in the crock with 1/4-1/2 gallon of water, maybe add a few tablespoons of oil (I normally use Canola, or extra virgin Olive), add spices to taste: Garlic Salt (or sea salt with a clove or more of fresh garlic, crushed and sprinkled in) Black Pepper and/or Red pepper Oregano Marjoram (if you're going to add Beef, Pork, any kind of Sausage or Chorizo) Thyme (if you're going to add Chicken or other fowl) (make sure the meats are pre-cooked) If you want it Really Spicy, add some Cayenne, Chili powder, or maybe Habeneros or whatever suits your taste! Put the crock on high for 1/2 - 1 hour, turn it down to low, stir it up a bit, run it about 8 hours, stir occasionally, turn off the crock, let it cool a bit, and serve!

What I think Flopping Fish was saying was that they copied what Good Mythical Morning SAID, not what they did. GMM does say "Can you ____ it?" Therefore, it is copying! Why BuzzFeed couldn't come up with a different catch phrase, I don't know! I have seen many different videos using the concept, and GMM didn't make a crockpot episode.
