Can you do a house wash with only an Everflo 5.5gpm soft washing pump???

In this video I do a basic house wash using only my pump and a hose.

Never tried rinsing with my 12v jus use my PW but reeling up the hoses really suck lol

Yeah when you have 3 hoses pulled they can get tangled easily. On this house I used a garden hose with a zero tip style shutoff to rinse. I have rinsed a house before with only the pump. Not something I would do all the time,but I had to meet the need. Luckily it was a smaller house. Thanks for watching 👍

I did a whole house 🏡 easily 🤩 and pre and posted the driveway then surfaced

That’s the way to do it. If I have a driveway and house or roof I always hit it first with the pretreat so when the house is done the driveway is ready to be washed. 👍

hey mate , love your videos! I was just wondering what nozzles you're using in your jrod for a 5.5gpm soft wash pump... Ive seen the nozzle sizing guides but they seem to all be for pressure washers! Any help would be amazing! Thanks !!

My nozzles are the original ones that came with my soft wash kit from pressuretek.com 0,15,25,& 40. Thanks for watching 👍

How much chem is used on average per square foot on a roof and on a house wash?

I really don’t have a clue. That is something I am trying to dial in a little better this year. This house was around 1800-2000 sqft and it took around 20 gallons of batch mix running it through the pump. I had to hit some areas about 5-6 times because of the angle,so it could have been a little less. I would think a roof would be about the same.

I would assume that would be 20 gallons of a 3% mix right?

Did my first test run, on my own house luckily, used 1.5% mix and it stripped paint off my gutters and pillars?? Glad it was my house I guess but not sure why it did that. Any thoughts on how to prevent or how stupid I am for doing (blank)? Thanks ** mix was 12.5 SH diluted to 1.5, water and same purex you used in your videos. Applied with 12v everflo ef7000

I’m not sure. I haven’t seen bleach strip paint before on gutters. Even a really hot mix I haven’t seen that. You’re not stupid. Maybe try wetting the gutters next time. But I really haven’t seen bleach react that way before.

@Jonboy's Pro Wash that's why I was shocked. I've watched literally hours of videos between yours and all the others, even the here's my social and card number guys lol. Idk why it did it and now am nervous to go do a paying customers house. Between that to the about $1200 I have invested on my setup and supplies, my pump pulsates/cycles the whole time unless I don't use tip which ya kinda have to lol. It's got 1" feeding it and 5/8 out to 1/2" ball valve then the suttner st-510 with 40 and 50 orifice 1/4 meg tips. Tried with and without 1/2" extensions( 4, 6, 12, 18 long pipes at end before tips) and without gun or ball valve but figured hell with it and I'll just burn relay or head first, hopefully, to get up and going so I can start and atleast start to see something coming in. Just not great start so far

@@coryj1811 Don’t get discouraged. The first house I washed the customer was watching me and I didn’t use chemicals yet and they were just watching me water the mildew. I wasn’t cleaning nothing. I unhooked everything tail between legs and said dang I have to figure something out. Then I found soft washing. I learn something everyday. You can always find a neighbor or family member to practice on.

@@coryj1811 Also if your pump is pulsating your drop stick may not be picking up,you are out of chemical,an air leak,or the set screw needs adjusted. That being said. That will be $19.99😂

@Jonboy's Pro Wash lol right. It's bottom fed bulkhead fitting that was already on tank. I tested for air leaks other day with soap/water spray bottle, like ya do for whole in tire. Which didn't see any but who knows. Trying to stay positive and not be the definition of insanity 🤯
