Thanks, RichC. I have the EXACT same problem. Throttle actuator error code and Bank 1 goes out, which I assume means you are running on 4 cylinders when it happens. Not driving it until I take it to my indie. I guess I “should” start it every now and then to keep the battery fresh. 👍

I just got a Check engine light and the revs went to 4500 also that means my actuator are done ?

Have to wait 1 week for parts, is it safe to drive it until then? It’s about 14 miles round trip to work and back.

I drove it with bad actuators for almost a month and it was fine. My work trip was about 12 miles round trip. You're just really slow so you have to be careful when trying to accelerate past people.

@@RichardCuico any idea why the dealers charge sooooo much? It seems so excessive and like they’re intentionally trying to harm the customers. I’ve gotten quotes recently from Mercedes, bmw, ford & Honda & everything seems to be at least $1k on up for anything they suggest be repaired.

@@57RollsRoycePhantom it's mostly supply and demand. Because of the virus, a lot of parts to make the car have gone up and are harder to source. In addition to that, dealers right now know that they can ask wayyy over and that someone will still buy it. It's just the unfortunate truth right now until there's more cars that come into the market
