I spent every weekend and most of my summers as a child in Clearlake. I often swam in the lake and ate fish every time I was up there. I don't have any health problems now.

In the 70's we used to camp & fish outside of lucerne , I remember at times the algae would be so bad it'd kill the fish.

I swam in Clear Lake right off the dock in Riviera today.. Think lake cures wrinkles! Whaaat? Skin feels amazing. Lake is so nutrient rich.. Shore sketchy.. Off the dock. Perfect like bathwater. We have even been swimming at night, All summer!

Once upon a time, Clearlake was commercially fished. In the late 1880's the lake was stocked with a half million Mackinaw Lake Trout. Anybody ever catch one these days?

I caught one in Montana

I gotta correct the date of stocking the lake with trout. It was 1921. It was the 1880' s when the lake began to be fish commercially. They should do it again for just carp. Too many in the lake thanks to Captain Floyd and his fish pond. It was a huge pond with a fountain that could shoot fifty feet into the air. Well, the pond was filled with exotic fish koi and carp etc. They escaped during a flood sometime prior to 1900. Don't recall the exact date.

Well, I see it like this: Cheyenne Blue has got a lot going for herself. And to everyone's benefit, I might add. # ONE is guts- it courage to put out a show, program like this. It's, well, public-spirited. Also, she shows initiative, and independent thinking. Cheyenne, I am here to encourage you in the strongest terms. You are really doing a public service, and you have apparently thought this up on your own! REMARKABLE!-and, don't sto

I suffered greatly in the late 70’s and 80’s in Clearlake…” The Highlands”…I swam in the lake all the time. Ate the carp to prevent starvation. Useless welfare parents. Graduated in Lake County in 1985…56 years old today….followed in my parents foot steps…uselessness
