Clear Lake? It's so polluted they recommend you do NOT eat the fish. And the stinch is horrible. I was told it was a 'resort area "? Broken down trailer's galore, tweakers and sadly disappointed. And this is recent?

I lived in napa for many years grew up there I fished all the time and found that the best time to bass fish is right at day light not 9 a.m.we actually quit at 9 with full stringers of huge bass i was casting at break of light literally and would catch one after another for half hour to an hour.

Good question. When I have my kayak really loaded up (weight wise) and there's a steeper/bumpier ramp I go with the portable trailer. Less stress on the smaller wheels/my gear tracks on my kayak.

Nice! It's always self bailing they're out and the water in the boat looks way more than it actually is. Grab a manual bilge pump to throw in your hatch just in case and good luck fishing!

I learned from Gary Dobyns back in the 1990's, when the water is high on Clear, get to the hard shoreline to find the better fish...

I fished clear lake a few days in April of 2022 and 2023 and I haven't had a single bite. Glad to see they're in there because I was convinced the lake held no fish 🤣
