I think its it is important to have the same things you like to do on the weekends which is the golden time for most people because of work. If someone hated the beach or traveling, I would know it would not be a match for me. I have been successful that way without an app! She is awesome!

The problem with dating apps is this: The guys who get dates using Tinder/Bumble ect. would have got them in-person without the need for the app. The way the apps were designed were for people who trapped in introversion. So unfortunately certain men get both the extroverted women and introverted women. And its a very low population of men. Thus ruining dating for actual men who NEED dates. Its like an MLB player being allowed to play in little league with little boys. I guess they need to feel like a champ with their entitlement complex.

That's an interesting way to look at it, and probably one of the biggest flaws of meeting someone online, as you don't really know what they're like. I feel like its probably way to easy to put on a persona that's not real and then when you meet, the expectation isn't met

Completely agree (and I use dating apps). I think the apps distorts people's view on reality and cause people's social skills, at least face to face, to diminish to an extent.

They may start building a false image of who they really are based on the online persona, then get disappointed in person, if the fantasy does not match in reality. I always recommend meeting in person as soon as possible.
