Nuts. Elite competitors really are a world apart from normal guys.
@pninnan10 ай бұрын
It’s so true. I’ve casually trained with a few world champs and it would be like me trying to beat an nba player in basketball. Not the same type of person, no chance

It just takes practice!!! I’ve spent a lot of time fighting out of submissions over the past 15 years. Thanks for watching!

I feel like starting RNC was definitely the right move-can’t imagine trying to start with an arm-in choke against someone this high level. He’s going to immediately establish a frame and get enough space to start working. Him getting out of the RNCs was insane
@bostoncrab4pple10 ай бұрын
Yeah, anyone who didn’t start in the RNC was basically saying they didn’t want to try and get the money lol

Wtf Trent used to teach wrestling at my old gym and also helped a lot with jiu jitsu instruction. Crazy seeing him on here lol. Mat Chess says hello Trent!!

Impressive escapes, William, damn! I'm glad nobody wanted to start in an aoki lock or a heel hook. That RNC escape looked uncomfortable haha

awesome content bro. I think the best chance would be starting with a locked up RNC and the body triangle those tanks at the end should have tried that

Seems The hooks and chest to chest wasn’t quite tight enough ( his positional tightness probably dropped just as he goes for the choke. Hard to be perfect positionally while submitting .) and you instantly were able to turn in just a little, to ease the choke. This gave you just enough time to fully beat the hook which blocks the turn in/ back to the floor..

Question: Did you place any restrictions on the competitors? Like the guy who started with a guillotine. Could he have started with his elbow high, or did he want it the way it was?
@WilliamTackettBJJ10 ай бұрын
He wasn’t allowed to start in closed guard. Cause then there’s no escape possible 😂 but everything else is cool
@Joecool2014710 ай бұрын
@@WilliamTackettBJJ ya the rules you picked made for a fun video, and the escapes were still impressive. And there had to be some rules, otherwise someone would start with a Triangle and Kimura, or other stuff that would ruin the game.
