okay, can we just talk about how weird it is that townies get mad whenever you do anything in their house (i.e. sleeping and cooking)? I think that the game should take into account the relationship of the sim and the townie. Once, my sim went back to her parent's house and was stopped from cooking. Kayla... if you take the cake slices individually from the finished cake, the slices sell for as much as what the whole cake is sold for. While you click on the cake, take piece of cake for inventory... they will keep the slices in their inventory for you to sell

Also, be sure your sims takes a piece instead of grabbing a slice... that way Stanley doesnt eat all the cake before you're ready to sell it. I have used a selling table to place the slices of cake on, then start a yard sale. To make a big profit, sell them at 300%. Good luck!

The trick with cooking is you need to have a top tier fridge, oven, and counter setup to increase the value of your wares... Also, perks from the reward store will spike the quality and value, as well as let you sell them for much more... I have also sold my cakes on a yard sale table with a 300 % markup...kaching

In BR we have this challenge "dona do pedaço", based on a soap opera, u have to sell your cakes in that table untill u have the money for open your own bakery...
