This is a interesting conversation. I'll be honest, I have had moments in the past where the only thing that kept me from taking my own life was the fear that I would end up in hell.

The real question is…who are we to decide who gets to heaven or the lake of fire? Jesus said to the thief on the cross after all he had done that surely he’ll be in the kingdom. We need to show grace to those who are suffering and let God handle the troubles of their life! Judas saw what he did was wrong and didnt feel worthy to live knowing that he gave the messiah to be sacrificed. Only God knows judas heart and ultimately will decide what happens…

Love it! Judas and Peter both repented. The difference is Judas went to man and Peter went to Jesus. Even more so… Jesus went to Peter but Judas didn’t stay around long enough for Jesus in which he most likely would’ve given him the same treatment he gave to Peter (Restoration and Forgiveness). Of course we don’t know but to take away your own life indicates you’ve hit a place of shame, doubt, regret and you’ve come to the end yourself which also means your broken and God our Heavenly Father absolutely has the capacity to see the heart behind where we’re at.

Jesus didn't give up on Judas. Judas gave up on himself. Had he waited a little longer til after resurection, Jesus may have come looking for him too. That is the true tragedy of his story. Its the tragedy of everyone who committs suicide, that maybe if they had hung on just a little longer Jesus would have come looking for them 😞.

This is real. Judas was wrong, but the scriptures don’t say “Suicide=Hell”. His problems was idolatry (money), deceit (working against Jesus in the dark). He tried to repent to man instead of God. The older I get in my faith the more I notice to Dogma I was taught in my youth. Idk if i this guy said it but Suicide Is Bad! Don’t do it. Could it send you/Judas to Hell? YES! But the Bible is very specific about a million things & it is not specific about that. It could have said Jesus saw Judas in those 3 days after death but I didn’t. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I agree. It’s a mystery. 1 Corinthians 15:3-7 NLT [3] I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. [4] He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said. [5] He was seen by Peter and then by the Twelve. [6] After that, he was seen by more than 500 of his followers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have died. [7] Then he was seen by James and later by all the apostles. Paul states Jesus saw the twelve disciples. Matthias didn’t replace Judas until after Jesus’ final ascension. Acts 1:12. So who was the twelfth disciple Paul was talking about if it wasn’t Judas.

Are we speaking of the final destinations in this conversation. Because all we have been is it’s either heaven or hell. But it’s deeper than that. It’s either New Jerusalem or Lake of Fire. When someone says hell are they talking about Sheol/Hades, Gehenna or Tartarus…you have to be specific just as the Bible is specific when it comes down to the context of that word “hell”.

@@raskul4because scripture doesn’t openly show Judas accepting Jesus on no account but I can’t say if he in hell or not but I do know scripture wise he didn’t accept Jesus. He repent to man. That’s God decision
