So true. I kept going to God, but I couldn’t stop the cycle. I asked God why couldn’t He just heal me? He one day led me to the James verse. I was so desperate for healing that I decided to confess it to my husband. Lo and behold, it turned out I had a soul tie and NOT with my husband. God showed me I had trauma, unforgiveness, supressed feelings, disappointment with God for what I didn’t get, and much more. God did eventually heal me, but it took honesty-layer after layer. As humans we have a tendency of deceiving ourselves.

This is good, really good. I did not articulate enough with my community when I became so overwhelmed by PTSD. It was a time when I was starting to feel more and more alienated from them, when I needed them the most. I need to join a good Recovery Group.

Needed this…I prayed to God this morning for direction. I told my Daddy that He raised me to remember to guard my heart because out of it flows the issues of life. I have humbly and whole heartedly embraced the single seasons for many divine reasons, so I needed to know if the man that has sought me, is the one. I desire someone that will not be a distraction from Yah, but an amplifier. It’s not that he doesn’t believe, because he does. However, it’s not apparent that he has a very intimate and active relationship with Yah. I am also wise enough to not compare where I am with our Father, and where he is. I just don’t want to be with anyone that my Dad do not want me to be with! I want Him to choose for me, because I’ve failed miserably! I know what I asked Him, and for the song “unequally yoked” to pop up followed by this, the Holy Spirit speaks! Thank you Yah! This is you, because I prayed silently, and we know the devil can’t read minds! 🙌🏾🙏🏾

Facts!! when you are soo frustrated in your heart about something and don’t even want to talk to God about it, that is actually when its the best time and thing to do! Being completely open and Honest with God and the Holy Spirit and crying out to God about it reeallyy and trulyyy helps and then He just fills me with an amazing Peacee and Comfort🌱 Not gonna lie it usually takes me some time after being frustrated to submit and be like Okay God here’s whats up😄🥲

You make perfect sense but make sense of the fact the N word is now used a tool for us and a weapon for non-black people. I think when using the N word it doesn’t represent mental slavery for us anymore because we KNOW our history and struggles and victories and the N word is describing REAL feelings and honesty. Just like cussing is not good to say but it is not a factor or way of living, it’s a way making people understand you because unfortunately ppl don’t hear you unless you can relate to them about your frustrations and your points to describe tough feelings. It takes real work to cuss out someone without cussing and it take real effort to not use the N word among your black peers without connecting with them on a level that no one else can has personal access to. Other cultures have there slang/racial slurs towards EACHOTHER even though their history is rich. But you right. 🤷🏾♀️

People don't fall out of real love. You were never in love in the first place... Fact is most people are not really in love, they are infatuated with the person and what is being talked about is a cycle of jump starting and reigniting the feelings of infatuation over and over again... A lot of times people will never actually meet the ;love of their life or who they really desire to be with so this is what they have to do to not be alone. Play these mind games to make themselves feel like they are in love...

You’re wrong and it’s ok. Yes plenty of ppl get stuck in seeking infatuation instead of mature love or they chase intensity instead of intimacy. Some suffer from limerence etc. But to say certain people aren’t really in love because they have seasons of less romance less intense feelings doesn’t mean they aren’t in love with their partner. All emotions and feelings are fleeting but love is more than that it’s a commitment, duty, call to action, and essentially a discipline.

Bro I been saying this for years. I don’t think it’s possible to fall out of real love or people change after marriage. We just choose to Ignore certain red flags then say they changed when we married. No u ignored it thinking it would change in marriage. Find what u can tolerate. Yes I’m single but because it took me time to heal my wounds as a kid to grown man. I’ve only been in love once in high school and early 20’s. I never got tired of her. Nothing she did made me not love her. I just think it’s unfortunate that we will find real love multiple times in life but it may be possible.

@@jeffphillips6506 bro you’re describing infatuation/limerence and borderline idealization of the woman. “ nothing she ever did made me not love her “ everyone and I mean everyone has some habit or pattern that annoys you. Love is absolutely accepting the red flags in another love would also allow both of you to accept where y’all can grow to better the relationship. In the honeymoon stage which can last 3-5 years those unmet needs from childhood etc don’t necessarily show up but they also do after the dopamine drops back to baseline.

Listen with the spirit not the flesh. I’m one conversation if y’all talk an hr or so as a real man lead by God u will know right then if she’s someone u can build with. We just don’t listen. We always as men wanna lead so much that we over talk them and miss the red flags
