Haha @ B Q, . . when will I ever muster up that elusive 'Perfect Ten' score, or rather twenty 😂😊! ! Eighteen correct answers @ B Q and I had to guess truly hard with several ballet variations ❤😊. My most favoured performance is 'Paquita', danced by Mars Khoreva ❤❤! I hope she becomes a Principal dancer, soon ❤. I love Roberto Bolle's 'Sylvia', too ❤❤; Act 3 Sylvia Variation Valse, and music score by Léo Delibes ❤! Coppélia, danced by Osipova, is always one of my favourites ❤; tho I'm quite fond of Kaptsova's Swanilda also ❤😊. I love all the performances, all the extraordinary, gorgeous dancers; and I'll watch your video again tonight ❤❤❤❤❤. Thank you as always; great & nice going @ B Q ❤😊!

"In every ballet, there are moments when some dancers just stand in the background"...well, actually here are also seen non-dancing mime characters, who are definitely not only "bystanders", but important for the plot (; One of my favorite tactics for guessing ballets, haha, so I got 20/20 and didn't need any choices (; I did try to guess things like company and the mismatching music on the way, such like red riding hood, waltz of snowflakes, dance of the dolls and the introduction of Le Papillon (for the first one (; )

They absolutely are crucial for the plot, it was never my intention to underestimate their role, on the contrary, the intention was to make it more evident 😊 You're giving me another idea now, to guess a combination of things... hmmmm... thank you ❤️ ❤️

Another good idea! I often use them as clues in other quizzes, but I still got two wrong. Nutcracker and Don Q always somehow wind up surprising me! Lovely dancing again, in some less commonly shown scenes - really appreciate the work you do finding clips!

@@BalletQuiz I'm simply happy that he was included finally and I didn't realize because Xander Parish was at Mariiinsky, and there is this more famous performance screened on DVD with Roberto Bolle, and here it was apparently a "guest" performance of Ashton's version at the Mariinsky. I also thought some years ago I had watched Swan Lake with Zakharova in TV, but it was Polina Semionova because it was only Act 3 at the New Year's eve gala performance at LA Scala and not the full version with Zakharova and Bolle (;

17/20! The music confuses me sometimes. The music of #7 is from Spartacus and the very dim stage could also be from it but Spartacus is not in the choices. As for #17, isn’t Sylvia part of La Esmeralda? I know there are different versions. I watched the entire Esmeralda ballet but the solo piece popular in YAGP competition is not in there. Any idea? Thank you for posting this fun clip. ❤

Well done! Diana and Actaeon is part of la Esmeralda, but Sylvia is its own thing from what I know ❤️
