because i can't. i mean not really anyway. look, i never go into the submenu of an exotic weapon because i have nothing to change on the weapon, ever. so like, why would i remember the icon of the intrinsic perk on the weapon?

@@Scrappy0794 My only exotic weapon icons are from S21-23 haha, but I know I’d recognize them immediately! Thing is, I did a lot of backend cataloguing and documentation sorta stuff on my team for a while regarding icons, so they could be easily referenced or checked (I could go on for hours about the “Visual Language” of Destiny’s iconography lol the deeper you get the more you realize it’s basically full-on hieroglyphics with meaning in every symbol) which meant that I was staring at every weapon icon all the time while sorting them haha! But I’ll admit, while watching there were definitely a few I didn’t get lol

I'm watching a youtube video that's been edited for time, so maybe I'd've faired better with the actual quiz, but yeah, this was a challenge. This is like taking a quiz where you name the lore books based on their cover images. It's stuff that gives the game texture, but is in no way a thing you need to know. And I'm coming from a place of actually enjoying looking at the intrinsic perk icons when I'm inspecting the guns, and I've got a pretty good catalogue in my brain of foundry logos, perk/origin trait icons, representational images of parts of weapons, and artwork on or associated with the weapons that tie to the game world and its characters. It's at least a good enough catalogue to where I could make some strongly educated guesses here and there, but I was at a loss for most of these, especially anything that was just a stylistic representation of just... crackling energy. lol
