so one time in my nursing class we had two rotc nurses come speak to us and one was black the other was white. Since we're in college and the white girl was clearly still in college or had just graduated, I assumed the black lady who was speaking to us was also about 24 years old. Then she brought up her kids...who were in college....needless to say, I was in a state of shock for the rest of the presentation.
