I just watched this for the three legs review, but I have been in a couple of bars in Leeds that you did, your last one and I think the second one in an alley, both nice places.

three legs use to be one of the best pubs along with the vine & biglills .near it ,when they existed .Now 3 legs is like what you just watched not a pub to visit .

Good effort. It’s been a while since I did a crawl around Leeds. Need to get the guys there. My problem is most of those beers I never heard of. Age issue I think … what happened to Tetleys 😀

I'm out in Leeds every weekend, never managed to get my Mrs into the Three Legs, Regent or General Elliot. The Angel is as low as she'll go.

Love Leeds, used to go two or three times a year until I got a couple of dogs but went earlier this year. Been to Brew York a few times and I was never impressed as I compare it to the brewery bar in York which is fantastic. Rather go round the corner to North Bar. Other half loves Belgrave but it is not my scene, still life would be boring if we were all the same. You need two or three days to do pubs in Leeds. Next time go to a few pubs near the train station, Tapped is good but you must get a pizza then go to Salt, Archies bar and have a walk to Northern Monk refectory.

The Three Legs is a proper Shithole. Avoid it like the plague. Surprised you didnt pop into the Original Head of Steam pub on Mill Hill nr the Train Station and Dark Arches..You couldve also walked about a mile down to the Northern Monk The Old Flax Store..There is also 2 North Brew bars in the centre one down below the Train station and the other up nr Belgrave Music Hall👍👍

Wanted to save the other Head of Steam for the next Leeds trip mate. So purposely didn't head down that way. We can't make it everywhere in one night so always plan to leave certain parts.

I prefer an ale at proper cellar temperature: 11º-13ºC, where you can actually taste the beer. I had some otherwise forgettable craft ale at Brasseurs du Temps in the Hull sector of Gatineau last year the was so cold I had to let it sit for ten minutes before I could down it.
@neilboulton98134 ай бұрын
I entirely agree, you cannot beat cask ale due it freshness (has to be drunk in 4 days) and further fermentation in the barrel. There are good kegs out there and probably an even greater range of choice with sours etc but I often find they are too cold and that definately affects the flavour. Also I know you don't Dale but never call it cask ale warm as its not it's cellar temperature and the only reason it' seems to called that is because it isn't freezing cold like some of craft beers, Lagers and even some of the Guiness range.
